I’m 30 now and as I’ve had time to look back at my childhood I’m troubled with certain memories that come back to me. My dad would sleep in the same twin bed with me when I was younger around 10 when he would come visit. Just to be close.

He would stick his thumb in my mouth and have me move my tongue around, and have me do the same with his tongue.

Put his head on my lap.

He would touch my butt and generally make me uncomfortable. I remember telling my mom he made me uncomfortable.

When I was a teenager he would beg me to kiss him and after begrudgingly obliging he would trick me at the last second and kiss me on the lips. He would say, “Ah! I got you! I got you!” As if it were a jok

Female, 31, for the six months I’ve gained about 13 pounds. I’ve tried intermittent fasting, calorie counting and calorie deficit. All of which stop the weight gain briefly but then it returns. I seem to be gaining 2-3 pounds each month. I am not eating more or working out less.

I feel constantly bloating, all my clothes are tight. I’ve started getting very full quickly from eating and immediately start bloating.

I’ve checked my thyroid, done multiple blood tests and everything comes back normal. My next step is to go to an endocrinologist to check cortisol and possible OBGYN.

Recently diagnosed with chronic urticaria and am on high doses of antihistamines, also on pristiq and bupropio

I’ve been getting notices from Nelnet that I need to pick a new payment plan, however on FAFSA it lists my recertification for 2027. (Presumably that was the SAVE recertification?)

I also can’t log into my nelnet account and need to call them but that’s separate.

Should I wait until next year or just go ahead and get a new payment plan? I understand that interest is accruing

I’ve always ate the same. In the last six months I’ve gained about 13 pounds. I had a small health issue that prevented me from working out like I usually do. I tried intermittent fasting and gained weight. I did calorie counting and calorie deficit but found it extremely difficult. I’m 5’1 and so a lot of the weight loss calculations were saying my max would be 1000-1400 calories a day. I had headaches, was irritable, miserable and was still not seeing results.

I don’t drink sodas, eat relatively healthy and truly do not eat any different than I ever in my life. I’ve started working out and now the only difference is that I’ve stopped gaining

I’ve gotten my thyroid checked, gotten blood

When we are together it’s so natural, good rapport, great chemistry. He truly seems super into me. But he’s cancelled five times, the last time was because he was “too tired.” He used to text back instantly, now it takes hours. He doesn’t really engage in the conversation anymore the way he used to. It seems obvious from his actions he doesn’t like me. But why does he make it seem like he does when we were together? Why not just say I’m not that into you?

I’ve been dealing with unexplained weight for a few months now. It correlates with my onset of chronic urticaria. I’ve also been feeling much more fatigued. I’m not eating any more than my usual, I tend to lose weight easily and I’ve only gained. In five months I’ve gained 12 pounds which is highly unusual for me.

I’ve been experiencing water retention and bloating which is also unusual.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I started to take Zyrtec and Xyzal as I heard they were strong. I broke out worse than when I was on Allegra and Claritin. I hardly broke out at all with those. Wondering if that is a similar experience for others, that for whatever reason some brands seem to work better for different people?

Hoping it’s just that and I won’t have to escalate to something more hardcore like xolair

I know this question has been asked before. Curious about new responses. It seems everyone’s docs have told them different things in regard to max amounts. My doctor told me there isn’t necessarily a max but after a certain point the antihistamines can only do so much and you’re just flooding your system.

Diagnosed with CSU. Currently experimenting with taking varying doses of allerga and Zyrtec

Female, 31 sudden hives

Physician Responded

I’m on 450 of bupropion and 50mg of desvenlafaxine. Weight is 130

Suddenly started developing hives on my lower body mostly. Thought it was a contact allergen and washed all of my sheets. It then gets better, then worse. I take an allergy pill and it usually calms down/goes away only to come back the next morning. I am thinking due to the high pollen count I am having an allergic reaction. I have never had allergies before.

My derm said hives are not something to worry about as it it could be many different things. Just wanted a second opinion. Is it possible to suddenly develop allergies/hives and for them to keep going and coming back?
