I am living in the United States for the time being. In a few days I will have copies of my permanent residence application. Will this be enough to apply for a credit card at bank on my next trip up north?

I wear shorts all year. I wanted to know what kind of options I have for complete concealed carry with shorts. I.E. Nothing seen from outside. No grip sticking out of the waistband or anything.
