Would like your thoughts on Hamas or Palestinians in general
Are they following the Quran and Sunnah? Hamas are Ikhwanis. They rebel against Arab leaders which is wrong according to the Salafi.
On top of that, almost all Palestinians are either Shafii or Hanafi in Madhab. This means they are Ashari/Maturidi in Aqeeda. These are deviants according to the Salafi.
I make apps and usually source my talent overseas via fiverr and upwork. I have always use Muslim Coders. I'd like to expand my horizon.
Some of the freelancers/coders aren't really practicing Muslim. They give Salam and such, but I doubt they are the type that even pray Salat other than Juma.
In Islam, is it always better to hire a Muslim worker?

I am looking for a cat. I don't care what color, what age, what type, what gender, cute or not... all I want is a drifting cat.
How can I know if a cat will do drifting daily? My house has polished timber flooring, so any cat wil drift if it wants to.
I've been told that Male Bangal cats are the best drifters but it must also be:
- Anxious: If the cat is not the anxious type, it will not drift.
- Furry: the more fur on his paws, the higher the expectation to drift.
- Active: This goes without saying. A passive-lazy-sleeping cat will never drift.
How can I know before purchasing such a cat? Any thoughts on this?

This is not even valid by calculation standards, let alone by moon sighting.
They are just testing how far they can get away with things.
They have already banned Palestinian causes and secretly supporting the genocide.
Muslims today are blindly following their scholars due to the celebrity Youtuber Sheikh Culture. They claim they are the ONLY true muslims and all other muslims are innovators and misguided.

This post is not intended to spark debate, as both 8 and 20 rakaat of Tarawih are, inshaAllah, accepted by Allah SWT.
This is simply a response to those who often stand in front of congregations and declare, "Only 8 rakaat of Tarawih is Sunnah," and that "20 rakaat is a Bidah."
The one-liner response is simple:
If only 8 rakaat is the Sunnah, then why did Umar (RA) instruct it, all the Sahaba (RA) accept it, and all four madhhabs adopt it for hundreds of years? Were they all wrong — or is your (modern) understanding wrong?
Of course, there's more nuance to the discussion, but the point of this post is to give a simple response to those who say 20 Rakaat Tarawih is a Bidah.
I just don’t get the point of using libraries like @freezed. Why would we want to have an immutable class but also have Deep equality checks? Doesn’t that defeat the main purpose of using immutable classss, which is to make comparison easy? I.e Rather than comparing each property one by one, I just have to compare the reference and knowing that the reference is different I automatically know that the state has changed. This greatly improves performance.
So why have deep comparisons for immutables then?
Can someone clarified this to me?

I had a discussion with a brother who claimed that "it's complicated" because Israel is helping us destroy deviant groups like Hamas (who he says is an innovator and Ikhwani) and the Shia.
He was also against boycotts and say we should support normalization with Israel because the Prophet made treaties with the Jews.
The irony is, he is a somewhat a practicing Muslim.
Do you see this around you? He does not say this openly but as a friend, he said this directly to me when I invited him to join a Palestine rally.
I am wondering how common this is?
