I have a 6 month old goldendoodle puppy. When I have to leave him at home he stays in his crate, never more than 2-3 hours at a time and usually no more than 4 hours a day total. There are some days that I don’t even have to leave the apartment. He loves his crate when I’m there and he knows the commands to get in it, sometimes even doing so voluntarily to nap. However, when I leave he barks and whines non-stop the entire time I’m gone no matter how much exercise and play I give him before leaving. Today we went on a 3.5 mile walk, played fetch all morning, I made sure to take him outside to potty before I left and I even left him with a frozen Kong filled with his food. But he just won’t st
