30M- What is considered marriage in Canada?

:24px-Flag_of_Ontario:Ontario

Im early 30's and girlfriend is asking me about marriage. Long story short, I make it very clear that I have no intention of ever getting married on paper, and even cohabitation I'm very hesitant about. We are now together 5 years. She says that's fine with her, but since our relationship has been a secret from her family for the last 5 years and she's kind of tired of hiding it, that we can just tell them we are married (they live overseas) and then we can live together or just see each other more freely instead of hiding things. I don't believe she has any malicious intentions with this. For her family, boyfriend and girlfriend dynamic isn't really acceptable, it's kind of marriage or noth

I'll keep it brief. Look, don't get me wrong, I am just as bullish as the next guy. But it's blowing my mind how nobody is really talking about the implications of what's happening internationally right now. So many moving parts, so many unprecedented events. Some will say conflict is bullish, but this will be regional and undoubtedly the economy will be attacked.

If you think we are just going to continue like 2025 it's already palpable how much we have slowed down and I'm personally seeing a ton of risk and uncertainty ahead. On many other investing forums the sentiment or advice seems to just be "don't time the market, just buy". I find that to be irresponsible kind of one-size-fits all

Hi everyone. I am writing this in the hopes of learning something new to be able to better understand where I stand politically.

I would really appreciate if someone could very simply and briefly explain to me what exactly liberals stand for.

I genuinely don't know where I stand politically, but if I had to guess I would imagine somewhere in the middle and leaning more towards conservative (but even then, I'm not sure).

Based on what I could piece together, I'm guessing conservatives support strong borders, less taxes, supporting traditional family values and roles, less ' big government', and perhaps even religion, merit and personal responsibility etc.

On the other hand when I look at
