Hi all, I posted a while back that I wanted to start tweeting Tim Hortons with all their litter that I pick up, because it makes up such a large portion of the trash in my area and are one of the biggest plastic polluters in Canada. The brand could use their leverage to nudge consumers toward more re-usable options, they just choose not to. If anyone else wants try to put pressure on them, I'm using the hashtags #TimsTrash and #TrashHortons

I read about these while reasearching vintage clothes. Apparently a lot of nice dresses had these to protect the fabric. Just doing a quick google, I found this company that sells under shirts with sweat guards built in. https://thompsontee.com/blog/are-armpit-pads-right-for-you/

I'd really like to start a toy library in my city. I think a toy library really gets to the heart of our enviromental catastrophe, which is individualism. We really need to return to collective perspectives if we want to save ourselves. With that in mind, does anyone have any ideas for approaching this? I think the best way to go at it is to see if I can utilize the infrastructure of the current library system and make use of public donations since every household with kids has too imany toys and would probably be happy to shuck them off for a good cause.

I'd love to hear any thoughts on this!
