Hi everyone, I’m a 36-year-old endurance runner with known PVCs and a loop recorder. I’ve had multiple normal echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests (most recently early 2024). Yesterday I experienced a pattern that felt very different from my usual baseline: I ran in the afternoon (~1:12–2:16 PM) and noticed mild PVC sensations that were uncomfortable but manageable, so I stopped. Later I tried again (~6:00–6:49 PM) and the PVC sensations were noticeably worse, prompting me to stop again. After that second run, the symptoms continued and escalated even at rest. I recorded Apple Watch ECGs around 8:20 PM and 9:48 PM, and the period between those felt the most intense (very frequent and str

Later that evening I tried again and they were way worse, so I stopped. But instead of calming down, they kept getting stronger after I got home. For a couple of hours they felt very frequent and intense even at rest. I recorded a couple Apple Watch ECGs during it. This also hasn’t just been one day — the last few days they’ve felt more persistent than usual. I do have a cardiologist and a loop recorder and already reached out, but I wanted to ask: • Has anyone else had PVCs that get triggered by exer

36M endurance runner (high weekly mileage + lifting). No smoking, no alcohol, no recreational drugs. No family history of sudden cardiac death.

I’ve been dealing with symptomatic PVCs for a while. My monthly PVC burden has ranged from about 1% to 2.1%. I currently have an implantable loop recorder, which has consistently shown sinus rhythm only no AF, no VT, no pauses, and no malignant arrhythmias.

Cardiac workup so far: Echo #1 (mid-2024): normal structure and function Echo #2 (early-2025): normal structure and function Echo #3 scheduled for Monday (Jan 2026)

(Did have nuclear testing 2 years ago. I believe beginning 2024)

Across all testing to date: EF consistently 55–60% Normal LV an
