Took the train in last night budgeting 60 minutes due to shuttle trains and lingering trauma from last red line shut downs. Took the local one, transferred at JFK, hopped a Braintree line, and transfered to the Orange line, and got to Haymarket in 40 minutes.

On the way back same route and took the express Ashmont shuttle train, and got back in 35 minutes.

Credit where credit is due. Transfers were annoying, but for the inconvenience the disruption was pretty minimal.

Just for election season. Ayote? Craig? I don't care, but god damned do I hate having to get their ads stuffed down my throat. At least compensate me for my time having to choke down the fear mongering.

I am writing to inform you that all Boston Public Schools will be closed on Friday, June 21, 2024. This decision was made after further consultation with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the City of Boston Department of Transportation and the Boston Police about student safety and operational concerns city-wide.

Our school buses transport 23,000 BPS students across our City every day. Given the expected crowds, road closures and detours for the parade route, and our scheduled half day coinciding with the parade times, there is no safe and reliable way to transport our students, especially our youngest lea
