I've been grinding away for about a week and having a good time.. There is an enormous amount of information for this game out there and I was looking for something to soak up some of my downtime and this is (more) than adequate :)

I JUST got all of my toons to W4 and unlocked their Elite class - and also just got my Journeyman to Maestro.

I THINK the best approach, at the moment, is to do the following:

  1. Park everyone else in Lab, with my Bubo the farthest right with the talent to boost everyone's XP.
  2. Bring out each char daily to do their general tasks - collect souls, traps, hatch eggs, do my Guild Quests and Dailys, pick up my keys and tickets. Check construction.

This has been brutal for weeks but it is exceptionally bad this morning. Not sure how many other people are experiencing this - I assume a lot of you.

Welp, I went ahead and bought my wife a 4K new wedding band for Thanksgiving/Christmas/Birthday/ValentinesDay/etc you get the point, so this year it's long overdue for a NAS upgrade and some new goodies for my home lab.

I am running a DS216+ (!!) with 2 8TB WD Red Pros. It's been extremely solid for me these past ~10 years, but it's time to get with the program and get something a little more... thick.

I'm eyeing up the DS425+, DS925+, and the DSA1525+. As far as I can tell, the DS925+ is going to be better performance over the DS425+, and the DS1525+ gives me the option for 10GBe and a 5th drive slot.

For the most part, my NAS is used for the following:

Ok - I have figured this problem out and .. I am guessing I screwed something up, somewhere. If not, I figured I'll leave this here so other people have something to find when searching for these exact problems (because I could not find anything.)

I am standing up my own homelab K8S using Kubeadm, using Proxmox VM hosts running Debian 13. I've Terraformed my system and installed what I thought was everything I needed. I can stand up the cluster and all seems to be good, until I get to installing Flannel. Then, my CoreDNS decides it doesn't want to start. Here's what I see..

kubectl get pods --all-namespaces
NAMESPACE NAME READY STATUS

I recently migrated from ESXi to Proxmox - with the specific purpose to start learning Terraform and K8s. So my plan was to spin up some VMs with Terraform, and then eventually use those for a K8s environment.

Welp, I'm using the BGP provider, and I'm more or less following the clone process. I've been able to make my template, supply my SSH keys, stand up a master node, and spin up a variable amount of worker nodes based on my count value in my tf file.

Sweet.

Unfortunately when you clone a VM from a template, it defaults to the template hostname. So every node brought up was using 'debian-test' as the hostname. Well that's no good. So I started googling and reading and sear

I’ve been running ESXi for years. I wanted to upgrade my setup to start using some modern tools, like moving away from apps on VMs to containers and using TerraForm / K8s playground.

Well, the free license for ESXi doesnt play well with that (specifically can’t do API writes from TerraForm) so after dragging my feet for long enough Im on the Proxmox highway.

I THINK im ready to make the jump. Just looking to make sure there is nothing obvious I am missing.

To prepare, I nested Proxmox in ESXi as a VM. I used the import tool to import my existing VMs to Proxmox. I verified they worked / their apps worked / I could access them as I expected. Then I backed them up to m

I'm looking for a sanity check just to make sure I'm not missing something obvious here.

I have a dell R720 running ESXi 6.5, so it's time to update it to Proxmox. I've only got a few VMs and I've already nested proxmox and practiced some migrations and feel pretty comfortable with that. I'm going to Migrate to the nested proxmox, export the VMs to my NAS... and then upgrade the server to Proxmox.

ESXi is currently running off an internal USB flash drive. As far as I have read, that's a no-go with Proxmox. It would probably work, but maybe not for very long.

My R720 has 16 bays, and I'm only using 8 of them. The 8 bays are currently configured for Raid-10.

Hey hey.. I'm new to Proxmox, and just wanted to share something I've been slamming my head against for about an hour.

I am planning to migrate my homelab from ESXi 6.5 to Proxmox.. Mainly because ESXi will not allow API writes on the free license, so trying to use it as a playground to learn TerraForm on my homelab is not possible. Also, licensing is wack and 6.5 is pretty old, so I don't think I'm really getting any benefit from running it anymore.

I only have one server, so my plan was this:

Spin up a nested Proxmox VM in ESXi
Spin up a MigrationTest VM similar to my existing VMs in ESXi
Use the Import tool from Proxmox to import the MigrationTest VM
Verify things are good

There have been quite a few AI updates over the past few months. Ive mostly been playing on BSG servers now that its possible and I have never seen an AI attempt to extract.

The main reason Im asking is because I have been hawking 100s of Grenades at PMCs for Grenadier and Ive come away with a whopping 1 kill. Im over this dumb quest. I use nades constantly and figured Id luck into kills but still stuck on this shite. I throw multiple nades, left-right and far-short over and underhand. These damn pmcs pull some matrix running shit and nothing connects.

Im stocking up on short fuses and will probably start trying to get impacts. However if I can just extract-camp on Ga

Does killing the undead enemies no longer work (i.e. Relentless Misfortune)? I am trying to stack up my Durge here, but it seems even when he empties their life bars they don't add to his stacks.

I also noticed these undead have a few health bars (sort of like armor) which I didn't expect. Maybe I am doing this wrong? Or does this method no longer work? I've been trying to farm stacks with him for days and he's only at 200k (i was using him with Shandie and HewMan in my active Gem Farm team just to get kill stacks..)

I'd like to stack him up so I can use him instead of Asharra in my pushing party (cuz honestly I'm tired of Asharra.) I'm a pretty new player so thought stacking

Been trying to upgrade my home network and set up some new cameras - I wanted to replace my old school Ring doorbell w/ a G4 Doorbell (or G4 Pro). It was out of stock last week.

Decided to check this morning after setting up my first Camera, and it happens to be in stock.. Thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is looking for one at MSRP.
