General Discussion

Not truly on topic so I apologize. I discovered last year that The Open weekend is the best time of year to get a colonoscopy. If you are getting to that age where you need one schedule it for The Open. You’ll be up all night anyway, might as well watch golf. Do it for your health, for the golf. (I don’t have to go back for another 4 years.). PSA over, carry on.

I (47M) am married with two pre teen kids. I would love to retire at 65 but also have a family health history where most men in my family don’t live to see 65. I am maxing out my retirement each paycheck, contributing to 529 for my kids, switched jobs recently and set up a HSA that I am maxing out. Will have house paid off in year. I have a 10 year old will that leaves everything to my wife and kids. What am I missing? What are my blind spots? Any financial or legal advice would be appreciated

Championship

SUCCESS!

I’m just a mere mortal. I will never win an NBA championship or NHL championship. I don’t know how it feels. But there is no better feeling than starting summer vacation. Tomorrow is my last day. Out of office is set, tee time is scheduled. Taking a 7 week lunch break!

It’s the unofficial start of summer. Windows down, volume up in your ride. What are listening to? Tupac and Sublime are my go to.

Mother’s Day in the US is May 10. Don’t book that tee time no matter how open the course is. You’re welcome!
