Hey there - I've been selling resin prints online for a while (gaming miniatures) and recently added FDM terrain to my shop. I'm a bit new to FDM printing, and I was just using 2 older used printers I bought cheaply and fixed up while learning how they work. But then FDM orders picked up in my shop, so I bought a Bambu A1 to fill them, since it's like 3x the speed of my older printers. And then they picked up again, and I bought an A2L and retired the older printers.

And now FDM orders have EXPLODED. I have way more than I can possibly handle without getting at least one other printer. I was planning on getting another A1 tomorrow, as it's economical and I know it'll work, but I'm consideri

Our new roster is Oliver McEwan as MD and performing live primarily on bass (Tim’s brother, and the only other person that has truly been with us since the beginning); Rhett Shull primarily on guitar, groove boxes and sound design; Oblvyn primarily on synths and vocals; and Kwe and Klunk returning on sax, synth and drums, though with some new tools and tricks this time.

Thoughts? I looked up both and they sound really good. Love Oblvyn's voice!

I wrote the below as a comment for the "So what do we think the story of syndicate is" post, but it grew so long and I had so many thoughts I felt the need to post it as my own thread. These are all my own opinions, of course.

If Kids and Heroes were about growing up, this album is DEFINATELY about growing older, lamenting past loss, and fearing future loss, and a lot of it is clearly autobiographical. My arguments:

Shadowverse is about a man who has ruined his relationship in pursuit of money and power, but feels he is had no choice because of the heavy responsibilities on that only he can meet (see the lines about "handing from the same rope he's trying to climb" and the metaphor of

I'm rewatching the series again, and I'm remembering how it struck me at the time how out of place the entirety of episode 3 (living armor) looked. Not even necessarily in a bad way, but everyone looked very off-model, particularly Liaos, who had a GIANT nose the whole time. And all the animation seemed intentionally distorted and exaggerated when in motion, particularly in the fight scenes and in Liaos' childhood flashback.

So what's the deal? Was there a guest director? Did Studio Trigger have the interns on that episode? It didn't feel CHEAP, it just felt out of place.

This might be kind of a weird post, but similarly to many of you there, I've been feverishly searching and trying everything to try and improve my CFS. And one of my symptoms is constant thirst - I drink something like double the water other people do, and it seems like my mouth is always dry.

But the worst part is that for the last few years, I've been getting these debilitating dehydration crashes, where my thirst gets exponentially worse, and no matter how much I drink it it can't be sated, and I become functionally useless for days or weeks at a time. I've been to the doctor over and over again for this, and been cleared for diabetes, diabetes insipidus (which is something very differen

I'm cis-male, 220lbs (99kg), 5'10", 39 years old.

I first tried MDMA back in November, with some capsules given to us by someone at a festival. (I didn't test them or find out the mg dosage - I know, I know. We got lucky that time and nothing went wrong, but I've sourced myself and tested everything rigorously since them. I'm pretty sure it was pure MDMA since it was a capsule and not a pressed pill, though.)

I don't know what the dose was, but MAN, what an experience. After a BRUTAL come-up (30 straight minutes of the worst existential anxiety and toilet-hugging nausea), I had one of the best nights of my life - I swear I peaked for like 2-3 hours. I finally recognized what the feeling of

I now have a job where I need to use 2FA through an authenticator often, and I've had Lastpass mobile for my personal passwords for a long time now. Whenever I need to use Microsoft Authenticator to sign into an app (where the desktop app gives me a 2 digit code, and the auth app on my phone sends me a notification to enter it), after entering the code the auth app will prompt me to enter my PIN - and at this point, EVERY SINGLE TIME, Lastpass will pop up and try to autofill with my Samsung login (it's a Samsung Galaxy phone), which interrupts the authentication and makes me try it again.

Thankfully it doesn't do it a second time (unless I navigate away from and reopen the auth app) and I'm

I keep running into positions that require ADP or Workday experience and won't accept anything else - and I don't mean for high-level administration of the system, but just for entering payroll and tracking HR info. I've only ever used Paychex Flex and various SAP based timesheet systems, but (and tell me if I'm mistaken) I REALLY can't imagine all the different HRIS systems work so differently that I couldn't put together how to use them within a few hours.

And yet, so many positions REQUIRE you've used a specific system and won't even talk to you if you haven't. I don't get it.

I've been dealing with chronic fatigue for 20+ years, and it's gotten worse recently, including frequent fatigue crashes where I'll have very little energy for weeks on end. This includes difficulty focusing on complex tasks for work or personal life. Instead of just trying to live with it like I have in the past, I've been making doctors appointments to find a possible diagnoses and see if there is anything that works.

Last month, I was referred to a physiatrist, who had me try modafinil. This is my first experience with any type of stimulant - I've taken phsyc meds in the past that did nothing for my energy levels, but just messed me up mentally, so I was a bit dubious about trying anothe

Sorry in advance, this is a long one, and kind of disorganized. Basically, I’ve (39M) been dealing with chronic fatigue my whole life. As far back as high school I can remember being tired all the time, and I’m not kidding when I say I fell asleep in class every day in college. Even today, I need a nap most days around noon, and I tend to have less energy even than some people much older than me and in seemingly worse shape.

(Apologies if I get any of the terminology or information wrong, I'm only learning about the situation myself and have no background in insurance, so I'm going off what other people have told me.)

Our COA with about 300 units is in Southern CA, and like many others, our insurance was recently dropped by a major insurance company due to wildfire risk with no offer of continuing insurance with them at any rate. This happened in October... And they (the board and the management company) didn't inform the homeowners until early January.

Why didn't they inform us? Well, according to them, they did this on the advice of their insurance agent for the major insurance company, who said he could fig

Technical recruiter training?

Learning & Professional Development

Can anyone recommend a good (online) source for training for technical recruiting? I'm not talking about general recruiting training, but training on understanding all the different fields and technologies. I'm having success with filling lower level jobs like tech support, but less with more specialized positions. There seem to be a lot of training options online, but I have no way of evaluating their quality and effectiveness before paying.

I really, really wish this app just showed me daily calories burned instead of "heart points". The way they're distributed makes absolutely no sense at all. Today I did 40 minutes on the treadmill, and kept my phone in my pocket the whole time to engage the step tracking. It measured 3,425 steps, 1.43 mi distance, 545 energy expended, 42 move minutes... And awarded me ZERO heart points.

In fact the only heart points I got today were 3 points in the evening for... Well, for nothing except having my phone in my pocket while moving around. And even then, it recorded 2 similar "morning walks", but I didn't get any points for those.

I'm about ready to just switch to another app (MyFitnessPal ma
