hi 👋

I know this is a bit out of left field but I was wondering if anybody knew of any stores around the place that might have Australia/Brazil/Egypt/Germany/Morocco/Portugal in this specific size and type? Just trying to work out if I'm looking for something that doesn't even exist 😅

Might as well

Hi everyone!

hi 👋

my recent social forays haven't gone well, so figured I'd see what happens here; early/mid thirties chump, kinda just looking for people to have fun days with, including but not limited to:

  • the beach ⛱️
  • board game gatherings, including the small collection I have begun, which are casual but not super basic ones 🎲
  • easy-going sports in the park, ones that don't end with us in the hospital 🚑

I was hoping to get back into doing some of these around the city, but my group can't really afford $45+ per person per visit (I remember doing my first one for $8!), and I was wondering if there were any for less than this. I saw there was one in Strathpine, but it wouldn't hurt to find one closer 🙂

Just curious, I started playing with the new trophy list and got to 100% in the EU version, just wondering what would happen if I started up the NA version? Just heard things aren't working as they're supposed to 🤔

Found out the Anise club in South Brisbane is gone now, more amazing (and well-priced) curry I'll never get to enjoy again 😥 Add to that the closure of Taste of Transylvania about a month ago (my Lagos... 🍞), and about a dozen more over the past 18 months or so and it's not much fun.

But yet, El Camino Cantina (home of the every day surcharge), Max Brenner ($19 for a single crepe, yay!) and "piss in a glass and call it beer" Felons are still doing just fine, along with many others that don't spark joy.

I understand cost of living pressures mean less people can afford to eat out, but surely that should affect the more expensive, crappier places first?

I know it's not really a big deal but
