Hey all,

r/ASU is once again asking for your financial support looking for new moderators! We would prefer someone who has 2-3 years left in their program so you'll hopefully have more time with us before you graduate, but anyone and everyone is welcome to apply! Those with previous moderation experience and/or a history of being helpful on r/ASU will be given additional consideration. If selected, you should expect to spend 2-3 hours per week on general moderation & subreddit upkeep.

To apply, simply send a message to the modmail with the answers to the following questions (do not DM/chat individual moderators, we will not respond nor will we review your application if sent via

In most cases, no one here is going to know about what specific program you're asking about at Virginia Tech or any other university, and the frequency of these posts is only increasing.

We are happy to answer any questions you have about ASU or how programs are/etc..., but we cannot make up your mind for you and honestly you shouldn't let strangers on the internet weigh in so heavily on your major life choices.

TLDR Go wherever you can get the cheapest reputable accredited degree in your desired field.

I'd go as far as to say I'd never FF at all under normal circumstances (I'd FF if I had 2-3 leavers/throwers/AFK bots/etc...), but it's insane to me how often people want to give up 4-5 rounds in. Best case scenario you click better on the other side and either save yourself some RR or even win the game, worst case you're really not sitting in the game that long in a stomp.

You can claim that you're saving mentals for the next game, and maybe if you're the kind of person who only has time for a couple of games it can be rough to have more of that time eaten up, but all you do by FFing is your small chance of winning into 0%.

People who try to FF immediately need to toughen up their menta

I'm not talking about making a lane change to get into a faster/slower lane or to get around someone, I'm talking about those who seem to make it their life's goal to get to wherever they're going a few minutes faster. They often don't use their turn signals, make lane changes way too close to other cars, and they see the 1-3 car lengths between cars and go "is for me?".

One of the first things you learn when driving a car is the concept of defensive driving, and what these people do is offensive driving and puts a lot of lives at risk just for the sake of getting to the store a few minutes faster.

Starting to see the posts trickle in, so we're going to contain them to this thread.

"How hard is my schedule" posts should be limited to this thread for the time being or they will be removed.

Easy class posts will be removed as always, but please post your updated easy class suggestions here so we can put together another updated resource without flooding the sub with posts. We'll collect responses on easy classes again before the Fall semester.

Thanks and have a great holiday season!
