In the last two years the Seahawks drafted two safeties in the second round.

2026, round 2, overall 64, Bud Clark

2025, round 2, overall 35, Nick Emmanwori

That got me thinking so I went looking at the rest of Seahawks history drafting safeties.

2023, round 6, overall 198, Jerrick Reed II

2019, round 2, overall 47, Marquise Blair

2019, round 4, overall 132, Ugo Amadi

2018, round 5, overall 146, Tre Flowers

2017, round 3, overall 95, Lano Hill

2017, round 4, overall 111, Tedric Thompson

2017, round 6, overall 187, Michael Tyson

And that’s it. That’s every player drafted by the Seahawks designated safety since the start of the franchise.

My wildest prediction ever.

  1. Trump will go to Alaska and meet with Putin.
  2. There he will create a treaty handing over Alaska to the Russian Federation.
  3. Over a zoom link there will be at least 3 senators in the senate chamber who will immediately pass a resolution of advice and consent in favor of the treaty.
  4. Trump will then officially declare the treaty binding on behalf of the United States of America.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2:

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassad
