After all the changes to sniping over the past year or so, I'm interested in hearing what people think about the current state of sniping on MnK specifically. I think most would agree that sniping on controller is a little bit easier, but - and I want to make this clear - absolutely no hate for those controller players on PC at all. Each input has benefits, and I'm not here to debate those. We play the game we have.

So with that being said - what do you think of sniping on MnK? I've always enjoyed sniping more than anything else in this game, as popping someone in the head from across the map brings me great joy. However I've never truly dedicated the time to get better at it and stick with

There are just no weapon combos that are really jiving with me right now. I've spent time using pretty much every type of weapon pairings in this game - snipers, shotties, fusions, glaives. I just can't find a weapon loadout that feels good right now. What are people currently rocking the most? I need some new suggestions to try out in IB this weekend. Thanks!

Edit: A lot of good combos and suggestions. Keep them coming, it's opening up the creativity and getting me to think outside the box a bit more. Loving it!

Are you a “stick to 1 loadout” kind of Guardian or are you a “use what I feel like on any given day or during any given match” kind of Guardian?

I ask because I struggle with sticking to 1 and really trying to master it. I play well with it for a bit, then I leave it and go try something else. I never actually stick to any 1 loadout for more than a couple nights, at most.

What do most Guardians do? Of course if you’re messing around, using multiple loadouts for fun is great. But if not, should you really stick to 1 thing and master it to it’s fullest? Or is using multiple good to keep you improving at multiple facets of the game?

There are plenty of posts around here with details on how to improve, and they are all great and helpful. So now that you've made the conscious decision to dedicate yourself to working on your PvP game - how do YOU tell that you are improving?

I ask because I feel like I'm getting better, but my stats don't necessarily tell that story. I still sit around a 1.0 KD, and yes I know stats aren't everything, but that number should theoretically improve if I'm improving.

So I wonder - how does everyone personally feel about self-improvement? And what do you consider/look for in regards to telling that you are, in fact, improving?

Looking for 2 other guardians (or 5 if we can get 6) to grind out the Rat King catalyst. I'm on PC and PS4, so can do it on either. Want to do it tonight if possible - don't care what we run. Sundial or Strikes? Doesn't matter to me.

Let's talk bottom tree Tether. Anyone having success with this subclass in PvP? I love the buffs - they're great - but I haven't quite got the whole cycle down yet.

If you're using this subclass - what has helped you have success with it? What exotic are you using with it? And how the **** do you use that super? I struggle getting any kills with that super, and I think it can be good but so far I haven't mastered it yet.

Is it possible to change the PS4 controller in steam to have different actions for the buttons? What I'm trying to do is switch the RS click with Circle. So my "cancel" would be RS click (as would my crouch) and my Circle button would be Melee (I play on Jumper). On PS4 you can do this, but I can't figure out how to make the change in Steam.

I did what I could, and it LOOKS like it should be correct. But the buttons don't change in game. I'm doing it under Destiny 2 in my Library, but it still won't change. Any help is appreciated!

Just got my first ever gaming PC - putting it together tonight. I don't have Destiny yet on PC so I need to wait until October 1st. That being said, my question is - as a primarily PvP playing in Destiny - what game should I pick up for the next couple weeks to get used to gaming on PC? I'll still play Destiny on my PS4 as I grind for stuff before Shadowkeep, but wouldn't mind picking up a PC game as well to get used to it. Thanks for the suggestions!

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

  • Mainly gaming to play Destiny 2 and other typical browsing on Twitter, Reddit, YT, etc. No streaming or anything like that.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

  • Max is $1050 Canadian (before tax, which is about $1200 total with tax incl)

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

  • Planning on going today to buy if I can.

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

  • Tow

We've got 2 new people (including myself) and another person who's only done it once or twice, so unfortunately we need someone that knows what they're doing. Our vets don't think they'll be able to run more new people through and get the clear.

Couple of us trying to get our title done.

I'm 23/24 on my Moments title and unfortunately it's all I have left. Any willing Guardians to help me learn it and get through the CoS raid tonight? I've raided an OK amount in D2 (about 20 clears total) so I'm not a total noob in regards to mechanics. Thanks!
