In CAT I Trust.

I have a mix of Mature (8” trunk) Apple, Pear, Apricot, and Plum Trees. I just recently purchased the property about a year ago and had an individual who has been trimming and pruning the trees, prune them last year in early spring. The trees all produce a ton of fruit 30+lbs a piece. The individual just showed up today (12-15) and said he wanted to trim the trees in 2 weeks. I live in Colorado on the hardiness map I’m 6b/7a. When I ask what zone we are in from the different Nurseries they say we are 5b through 7a as well as online.

With the info provided should I get the trees trimmed right now? It seems very early or late to trim. Are they just trying to fill time to get a pay check or i
