Hi fellow recusers,

We adopted a beautiful F American Bulldog 3 days ago. She is incredibly loving towards people, already playing, eating, exploring, wagging her tail, etc. Showing great signs of settling in.

However, she doesn't have a lot of trust with other dogs. We don't know her full story, as she was picked up as an abandoned stray and stayed in the kennels for 5 months.

We also have a 14 year old M staffy who is very chill and patient. He is giving her lots of space. But she has still tried to clash with him a few times and gets her guard up even if he calming walks past her and doesn't bother her.

She has her own sunroom to decompress and have lots of space, we encourage them to

I started taking Ozempic 2 months ago for my type 2 diabetes. Started on 0.25 and everything was going smoothly, the last few weeks my dose was increased to 0.5 and all was going well until my third dose. A few hours after taking it the stomach cramps started, then sulphur burbs, then before you know it, I'm experiencing horrible diarrhoea. For the last 3 days, every time I eat, about an hour later I'm on the toilet and it's like a waterfall 🤢

I am eating plan simple foods, no high carbs, sugar, or processed food. I've tried electrolytes which gave me temporary relief. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to take it anymore if it is going to make me feel miserable like this. I literal

Hi all, I am type 2, recently started using Ozempic. It's been amazing so far, just some nausea if I eat too much or too fast, however, I am struggling with energy levels during exercise. I am a runner, I need to run for my mental health, but by the time I reach 2kms I feel like I am going to faint. It's super frustrating. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how I can keep my energy up and still do my running?

Hi, I am type 2, diagnosed 3 months ago. I've gotten my levels down to a daily average of 6.2 without medication. My question is, can diabetics still enjoy a cheat meal every now and again? Could you enjoy some pizza and then go for a walk after to help the glucose? Or is it just not worth it?

I got diagnosed 3 months ago with type 2 and I am looking for any success stories for anyone who has managed to reverse their diabetes and stay with their healthier lifestyle ongoing.

Hi 👋 I was diagnosed with diabetes nearly 2 months ago and I would love to hear everyone else's diabetic journey.

When were you diagnosed? How long until you could get your levels down safely? What have you learnt about yourself since prioritising your health?

Looking for inspiration that the future isn't all Doom and gloom.

Hi reddit community, I was diagnosed with type 2 a month ago with strong genetics working against me. I've always tried to stay active and eat healthy, but I guess I wasn't being accountable for everything I was putting in my mouth and this is the result. Since my diagnosis I have noticed a huge change in dynamics with my partner. He is a really active guy, always has been and when I first told him I was so upset with myself and his responses haven't been supportive instead I get "I told you so" or "you've only been healthy for like a week", or if I eat healthy snacks "hows the diet going?". Just very snarky narcissistic comments that highlight how bad I already feel about myself. It has be

I need some advice from others who use a Canon R7. I have been asked to photograph a friends 30th birthday party that is in an indoor function room. I currently have a 50mm lens, a 18-150mm lens, and a Godox V1. What settings and equipment would you recommend using for this event?

Extra points for photos you have taken in similar environments and equipment.
