I've been enjoying the conversation that's been sparking around these questions, so I have another one for you!
Currently, PHP has the (??=) null coalescing assignment operator which assigns only when the left side is null, but there's no reverse operator =?? that assigns only when the right side isn't null — forcing us to write $x = $newValue ?? $x instead.
Would a =??operator or something better make sense in PHP or is the current syntax clear enough that it's not worth adding? (too much sugar)
Question: How would you feel about PHP adding native typed arrays like string[]/int[] so we can enforce element types at runtime without relying on PHPDoc + static analyzers? It would add explicitness to function signatures and make APIs cleaner than repeating array plus manual validation everywhere.
With PHP having features like attributes and more advanced serialization patterns, do you think partial classes have a place in the language—so a single class can be cleanly split across multiple files without relying on traits?
For example, a large domain model could keep attribute-based validation, serialization/mapping, and event hooks in separate partial files while still compiling into one class—would that be a net win for maintainability in PHP?
Or would that cause added bloat and confusion across code bases?
Because I'm going to be honest r/OnePieceTCG2 isn't a good name - it makes us directly associated with the OG subreddit [toxic] and I'm just not in the business of being associated with an unwelcoming, gatekeeping toxic group of individuals.
I seen a handful of ideas, I think we need to comment a name, upvote the top 4 and vote on one [with enough time and people to actually vote on the final name lol unlike another poll I've seen]. And lets get it cracking.
I also don't think this sub should change it's niche to allow the change in content. Stay niche, open up a broader more welcoming [than the prior] community that ties it all together.
I'm mildly curious as this subreddit came up with an interesting rule and I'm wondering if it actually complies with reddits terms of use and if it falls under an abuse of moderation power?
It's one thing to go against a subreddit's posting rules, but to get banned for posting or participating in a subreddits that has NOTHING to do with this one. That's awfully concerning is it not?

Currently the tech has been used for recreation and imitation, you can hear it in a lot of songs that's popped up, most recently the 50 cent songs he posted on his page [that he actually likes].
My issue is I feel like that's lazy and artists and producers should be using the tech to advance the sounds as a whole. Improved recording [tightening background up], creating new effects/sounds to use manually, simplifying the approach and lowering entry to creating [especially for the disabled and kids] without sacrificing originality and the art form of music creation itself by imitation.
How do you feel about Ai, where do you think it's going to go and what do you want to happen since AI is h
I had this thought today and I was in a youtube rabbit whole with yayo, and they were talking about the story of him going on the run and they mentioned the song "Running" and that's a Documentary song from The Game. And it made me think after listening to the song, Can antics ruin your legacy? Game is one of the most skilled writers in hiphop, yet his antics [fake beefing for views], his lying [or stretching a truth] to me kind of ruins his legacy a bit.
Do you think antics can ruin your legacy? And who else do you feel like could belong in this category of a ruined legacy? And what did they do which makes you believe they ruined said legacy?
The amount of men not washing their hands at these public places is just too damn high...so why the hell are you not washing your hands? I know for a fact covid was started because of a man.

open.spotify.com/album/1xilmbBVUsZj9oXCLHS81FFor me lol, I noticed people with loud exhausts and people who ride motorcycles get treated differently when it comes to sound. Only time people bitch at motorcyclists is when they come through the neighborhoods in the mornings lol
Try to keep it lighthearted and not too weird lol
