Hey everyone,

I'm a guy with multiple interests, but only superficial knowledge of all of them – no deep knowledge in any particular field. How do I find my thing? What should I pursue?

I did BTech in Mech from NIT and had a short stint at a manufacturing firm. I left it because I didn't see growth in that kind of role and wasn't interested in it (I came to know that after the first few months). Then I started CAT prep, but failed horribly! I thought management was my thing, but now I've fallen into the trap again of figuring out what kind of career to enter because I can't have another gap year!

I'm thinking of a data analyst role, but still not sure! Has anyone been through similar phas

Could you help me with my SNAP exam? It’s in five days and I’m feeling completely demotivated. My CAT went badly and I’m still procrastinating. Can you help me get back on track in this short time? Had taken a GAP for cat but the CAT experience was very humbling, and with just around 6 months of work ex, in core mechanical work, I am also wondering what my future plans would look like? I have interests in the marketing side, but still a newbie, no knowledge and experience in that field! Hoped for MBA to be my redemption, but CAT denied it. I know i still have a few omets on my hands to prove it, but the fire that was on within me until CAT has completely lost its spark.

Hey folks, prepping for CAT and aiming for top B-schools. Quick thing — had to quit my last job suddenly 'cause of a family emergency. Didn't serve full notice, and now ex-company wants me to pay a fat amount for notice period recovery. (around 2 lakh)

They’re being super rigid, even though others in the same role left with no hassle. I’m currently unemployed, prepping full-time.

My doubts:

Will this mess impact MBA admits if I don’t get a relieving/experience letter?

Can I just show salary slips/resignation emails as work ex proof?

Post-MBA, will background checks by future companies flag this?

Anyone been through this or have tips? Kinda stressing.

Appreciate any help!
