Got the free sample of D&G Devotion with a Sephora order a week or so ago. I've given it so many tries, but it has to be one of the worst 'lemon' scents I've ever smelled. On my skin it smells like a lemon candy that someone spit out, layered with hand sanitizer from 2020. there's this weird almost saliva like note in it that makes it smell musty and sour. Breaks my heart because lemon scents are some of my favorite usually (Unknown Pleasures, Lira, Bake, Montblanc Signature, Under the Lemon Tree, & the lemon notes in Good Girl & Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream are some of my favorite parts about them) but there's just something about Devotion that makes me gag. I wish i liked it and could smell

Hey all! I'm stumped - I've had samples of both Unknown Pleasures and Lira, and I can't decide which i think is more FB worthy. Was curious as to all of your opinions, which do you think lasts longer and is more citrus forward? Every time i wear one I think it's the one I'll buy a FB of, and with how pricey these scents are I'm not sure I can afford to buy both right now ):

I know Lira has that Anise in the opening, but i feel like I've gotten more compliments on it overall than UP, but to me I feel like the lemon is sweeter in Unknown pleasures. I'm torn. Give me your biased opinions lol

This was sooooo hyped up and i went into testing it with pretty high expectations (as high as the price! DAMN) the cloud comparisons are so spot on. Obvi i can tell some major differences but the overdose on ambroxan is soooo similar. Cloud is definitely sweeter with more emphasis on coconut and fruit, but the DNA is basically the same. overall, and I know this might be a controversial opinion, i think it’s one of the most overhyped and overpriced fragrances i’ve ever smelled. it’s good, i get wafts of it and can tell it smells /good/ but i don’t think its price is justified and it kind of gives me a headache (a first for any perfume i’ve tried! except white diamonds, that’s brutal) unfort

Masculine Frags?

Rec Request

I'm pretty well versed in female frags, but I haven't really delved into the more masculine side of things. Lately my brother (28) said that he was wanting a good fragrance, so I was going to get him a nice one for xmas since he knows how obsessed i am haha, but besides PDM, Replica, & Tom Ford, what 'male' fragrances would you all recommend?

For reference - notes he likes are Vanilla, Amber, Coffee, Sandalwood, Boozy (not TOO boozy, i don't want him to smell like he just downed a bottle of Woodford LOL). I want something that smells good, but not too douchy or generic. I was looking at Coffee Break, Jazz Club, Tobacco Vanille, Herod, and Oajan, but i need to go to the store to really smell

hey all! I've been looking for a strawberry forward fragrance for a while, something sweet and gourmand, while not smelling like a My Little Pony toy from the 90s LOL

I saw Strawberry Sugar High by Sphinx Fragrances, and that seems to hit the mark, but I wanted to see what other people's were/if anyone had tried it before I blew the $35-$140(!) for the bottle

I say no Burberry Her because it does the same thing on me Cloud and Taylor by Taylor Swift do - it goes quite sharp and I don't get any of the sweetness/strawberry notes much from it. I also got Miim.Miic's impression of Crybaby, but it smells more like a generic sweet berry scent, kinda like Wonderstruck IMO (still a good perfume wi

This can be generalization or thoughts about a specific perfume!

For example - people always say Missing Person doesn't last and the sillage is terrible, but I've found it lasts FOREVER on my skin and clothes! I sprayed it on before work one day, and right before i left, more than 8 hours later, my coworker said i smelled amazing. I was shocked because I couldn't really smell it on myself (must have gone anosmic after a few hours of wear!)

More generalized - I don't think gourmands are as juvenile as a lot of people say. I think there are some really classy, elevated gourmands out there. But to some fragheads, if you say you like gourmands they instantly judge your taste. I also think the

When I’m having a bad day there’s nothing like getting home from work and spraying on a cozy, comfortable fragrance. Dousing myself in LDBS, or Burberry London can dramatically shift my mood i was wondering what your go to comfort events are! Doesn’t have to smell warm and cozy, just one of your favs that you can spray to lighten your mood ☺️
