Description of problem

During a recent thunderstorm, I turned off my computer and monitor and unplugged them. Since then, I've been having strange problems with my monitor. My monitor will not turn on at all without a mini Display Port being plugged in to the monitor and the GPU. If I try to use the monitor with only an HDMI or a DP cable, it will not turn on at all. Also, I cannot get video through the DP cable or the mini DP cable. The only way I can get video i

The fans have buttons that control the LED lights and as you can see in the pictures, I put them in the front of the case and on top of the case for ease of access. Mostly gaming. I play League of Legends a lot but also played the Witcher 3 and want to be able to run Fallout 4 when it comes out. I also watch streamers on twitch.tv and sometimes have this running at the same time as other games. I will be running at 1080p. If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

Gaming at 1080p, ultra settings, 60fps.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

~1500. Lower if possible but I can spend more.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

I would like my budget to be around $1400 but could probably spend a few hundred more if it would make a major difference. I want this computer to last a long time so I will definitely be willing to spend extra if needed.
