I’m trying to remember the name of an adult visual novel I played a while ago.

You play as a male MC who starts off homeless, and then you find out you have a twin brother. Because of some unexpected circumstances, you take his place and end up living with his family.

That’s all I can remember, but it’s driving me crazy.

Seriously impressive work. You play the role of a talented young driver who joins a small team with the aim of turning things around in the world of Formula Junior.

It opens like a cozy slice-of-life romantic storytelling game a new place, new school, new people, and a handful of cute girls close to you. It all feels cozy and comfy, with funny moments and a slow pace. You really start to feel invested in that world.

Then all of a sudden, things start to turn. The tone gets darker, the atmosphere heavier you start to see weird things, and hear strange noises, and feel like something is watching you. That slow build from tranquility to psychological horror is just perfect.

So I randomly found this VN called Missing Part today. I went in expecting just another adult visual novel, but wow. I’ve only played about an hour , and I’m already hooked.

The writing and atmosphere are much more emotional than I expected. It feels like there’s real character depth and a story that’s going somewhere significant. The adult content is present, but it doesn’t feel forced. it fits into the story naturally.

Honestly, if it continues like this, it might even match Leap of Faith in terms of emotional impact and storytelling.

Has anyone else played it yet? Does it maintain this quality later on? I’m trying not to spoil myself, but I’m very curious.
