Like the title states, I am beginning the journey with Semaglutide next week. I have read a lot about the drug, the possible side effects, etc. I know what I may experience and understand I won’t know until I’m experiencing my journey.

But I’d love to know your best kept secrets for success on this medication. An example might be a recipe that packs a ton of protein into a smoothie or small meal. Or perhaps, to begin taking iron supplements or biotin prior to weight loss to prevent hair loss. These are the tips I’m interested in

what little things have you learned from this experience that could contribute to another’s success?

Thanks all!

I’d like to do a Unit with my 8th graders on The Chocolate War. I’m curious if any of you have used it recently and how it went over. I love the book and it’s themes.

I’d also LOVE suggestions for a book with similar themes- from a more recently published book with a female protagonist. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Just what the title asks. what is your best practice for grading/providing feedback on student papers. I am curious how others are doing this in a way that provides important feedback- with limited prep time.

thanks.

Just saw a 5bdr house in Riverwest was listed for just a smidge over half-a-million.

I’m just…speechless. Beautiful home. Nice renovations- whatever. It still situated in a neighborhood with a lot of crime and surrounding poverty. The schools are shitty and parking is a joke.

It was over 1/2 a million dollars.

What the fuck is going on? I am literally ill.
