Since finishing the main series 6 weeks ago, I decided to listen to the Ten Very Big Books podcast. Kind of using it as a refresher and recap, differs from a reread and gets some opinions and thoughts that I may have not considered while reading.

In several comments here, I have voiced my opinion of one of the three hosts, and my annoyance and aggravation at their inability to grasp any concept about anything at any time anywhere at all.

I am here to adjust that opinion. I am two episodes into Memories Of Ice, and apparently they are using the physical book to read now, as opposed to the audio book. The immediate and obvious improvement that simple change made to the podcast has been ama

I’m sure this doesn’t stand out to anybody, but I started reading it in February for the first time, and read the final page about ten minutes ago.

That was something else, lemme tell you. I enjoyed some, loathed some, and was ready to stop a couple times. But I’m glad I persevered and now I can say I accomplished one of the greatest reading feats that I’ll ever accomplish.

Ralphie sucked Vito’s cock for info

Spoiler[Serious Discussion Only]

My fiancé noticed something during another rewatch.

Season 3 Episode 13 Army Of One

Vito kills Jackie >

Ralph talks to Ro on the phone >

Vito walks in, Ralph tells Ro he’d be home late>

Ralph grabs toothpaste and toothbrush>

Vito watching tv while Ralph leaves…

Look at that scene editing. Ralph sent Vito to kill Jackie Jr > Vito kills Jackie Jr > Vito informs Ralph > Ralph tells Ro he’ll be late > Ralph brushes his teeth > Vito is chilling

Ralph blew Vito. Tell me I’m wrong.

It is 2:00am Eastern, and the concert is still not over for me.

Thanks to all your lags and interruptions, Not Fade Away is still not done.

You’re the best. Thanks.

Everyone complains about the awful Livia CGI in that one episode, but one thing I don’t see anyone complain about is the pile of garbage that’s dumped in front of the convenience store in S2E11 House Arrest.

That is the fakest shit I have EVER seen. I believe that fish is actually saying “$4 a pound” more than I believe that garbage exists.

I was hoping that someone could possibly point me in the direction of somewhere I could download and save pst stream from Billy’s most recent tour.

I have a Nugs account, and have watched both of the Cleveland shows several times, but I’m afraid once Nugs moves on, they will disappear. I was able to find all of the Away From The Shire videos to save to watch, but don’t know where to look for the most recent Cleveland shows.

Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Did anyone else listen to this? I’m torn about it. On one hand, it is by FAR the longest and most in depth interview with Les I’ve ever seen/read/listened to. We all knew the broad strokes of his youth, and Bob did a great job of digging deep to find out some fun little nuggets.

On the other hand, I can not stand how Bob conducted that interview. He was AWFUL in so many ways. Dude says “Oookay…” before every single question. He tried asking some awfully personal questions. Like about Les’ high school girlfriend, and what the fuck was up with the weird focus on his obviously joking reference to puberty? Dude seemed to be very focused on finding out about Les’ pube situation. Just awkward as

I searched this sub for answers, and didn’t find any. So sorry if this has been posted, but I tried, I swear haha

Curious what the neighborhoods around Kilbourn Park and Belmont Gardens are like. We’re staying around North Pulaski Rd and West Belmont Ave, and just wondering if they’re a safe place and we’d be okay walking to train/bus stops in that vicinity?

Also, for fun, what’s a good spot to eat in that neck of the woods? Much obliged for any help you could send our way.
