I no longer wish to be associated with my old content creation days, including previous reddit usage, so I'm in the process of having my personal content, unarchived.

Played on and off since closed beta and it just seems their is too much in game bloat to balance now, do you think GGG is struggling to make effective and interesting changes because of the sheer quantity of mechanics that need to be changed to keep things fresh?

Hey, first time player of UO, known about it for ages but felt I missed the boat years a go so never bothered, just played the last few hours on the official Australian shard but it seems pretty dead.

Could someone recommend an active Australian/OCE shard, or US west shard, much appreciated!

edit: I enjoy PvP, PvE, probably a more modernized version of the game would be ideal since I have no nostalgic connection to classic. Can't seem to find any AU shards apart from a classic shard. So far just looking for US west, so far eventine and outlands sounds interesting, so much choice ;_;

bonus edit: Any suggested combat playstyles for higher ping players? I can't imagine the old netcode is too

There exists only TWO game time card types, right? EU and NA? There is no AU region game time card region, correct? As long as I purchase any EU game time card, I'm fine, right?
