I am super new to brewing and followed the Traditional Mead recipe from the YT channel City Steading brews. I did a gallon carboy with 3 lbs of honey using lallemand ale yeast. I added a cup of tea for nutrients, like the vid said, consisting of yorkshire red tea, orange peel, and cut up raisins. I let it go for 4 weeks (at which time fermentation had stopped) then racked and cold crashed it. Then waited 5 days and racked again and it is currently still in the fridge. I didn't take measurements and it is still super sweet. Would it be a good idea to throw a wine yeast in to try to start back up the fermentation again?
I have an everyday carry IWB holster using the belt company that shall not be named here. It works pretty well and cheaply for someone who just got started with conceal carry. I also got a leather OWB holster for my 1911 Gov model that has loops to put the belt through. It is kind of a pain to loop on my EDC belt.
So my question is, does anyone have experience with an over-the-belt-loops duty belt that clips on so that I can keep the OWB holster on the belt all the time? This would go over the actual belt through my belt loops.
I am making an electronic primer system for a homemade musket. My idea is nichrome wire heating a match head to ignition. My idea is two 9 volt batteries. I need to get it to make it get to at least 300-400 degrees F. I'm not sure how the wire gauge, length, and temperature patterns work based on the current and voltage. I can do math if you point me in the direction of the equations.
Making my own percussion cap musket. I slugged the barrel to .385 caliber. I have made and am making everything but the barrel, springs, and pins (cut down nails or bolts). Everything else is hand forged or made from bar stock. The barrel is about 3.5 ft long with 0.5 in outer diameter and previously slugged inner diameter. Chamber cap is a 7/16 bolt tapped about 3/4 in. in. I plan to make the black powder myself along with the percussion caps. I'll be testing them with paper towel slugs, to begin with. The bullets I'm planning are conical .375 cal. (maybe slightly less) with handmade mold from aluminum bar stock with weight not yet known. I am worried about squibs but I really just want a s

I remember seeing a somewhere about a picture about the "diversity" of a journalist/media team where all the "diversity" was all black woman on par with the picture huffington post tweeted about their team "diversity." Anyone remember or know how to find that picture?
Just had a game where in an AD-2 on Hokkaido bombing the mid base with the 1 2000lbs, 2 1000lbs, and 12 HVARS. Fired off 6 HVARS and dropped the 2000lb bomb. The bomb didn't detonate. Turned around fired the other HVARS and dropped the last 2 bombs. Neither exploded either. Dead on target with a 2-second timer I changed from assault fuse before spawning in. Good ping and Packet loss 0-3%. Anyone else have issues like this?
