Wondering if anyone owning either of these products can give me some advice.
I’ve been looking at a table saw for some upcoming projects (light woodwork, some house renovation stuff etc) and found some good reviews for Evolution online, however looking at their saws I’m a little confused at the differences between the R255MTS and the R255TBL. Looking at the specification (knowing nothing about table saws) they appear very similar, but the R255MTS is £180 from B&Q, but the R255TBL is £329 and the “plus” version is £379, over double the price!
Am I missing something obvious? While I’d prefer to save some cash, if the R255TBL is significantly better or has additional features I might need I d
So while I’m loving my Ninja, I’m toying with the idea of a retro/scrambler bike for short distance/city commuting since putting luggage on a sports bike is heresy to me.
I’ve looked at a few brands and considered triumph for their bonnevilles/scrambler 400 etc but the price for what is essentially going to be a “beater” bike that I can tinker with and fix myself but also looks fairly classy seems extortionate.
I’ve seen a few mutt motorcycles around on Autotrader and honestly I think a 250cc scrambler/classic styled bike (Like the Mastiff) would be perfect, plus they’re damn cheap (I know they’re basically Chinese bikes assembled in the uk)
So any good or bad experiences?

Royal Navy support sailors vote to strike - and it 'could put security at risk'
news.sky.com/story/amp/royal-navy-support-sai...Been focusing on being more financially literate and prepared for my future this year, so finally got around to trying to understand my pension. I’m on the AFPS 15 scheme which i understand is not as great a deal as the previous ones but it’s still solid since it’s non contributory.
That being said, I’ve heard you can choose to contribute extra to the pension and I was wondering how much a month comes out of your pay and rough numbers for how much that’s worth down the line, since pension calculators are confusing the life out of me.
Also anyone who’s gone for a private pension in addition to an AFPS one, what’s your experience? Cheers in advance.
A blind man could have seen this coming miles away, but I’ve never read an RNTM and felt so fucking smug. I’ve been kicking off about this the entire time it was brought in, and now my lads are getting their badges back because the RN has realised they fucked up.
For context:
“Since the policy to remove branch and specialist badges from workwear was directed in April 22, it has become apparent that the loss of branch identity and the inability for COs to recognise promotion from AB2 to AB1 by awarding a different branch badge has been emotive. In large ships (QEC) the issue of identity was also identified as an issue, although in smaller units the practical difficulties were less obvious
Been eyeing up the upcoming Kawasaki ZX4RR since the American reviews got their hands on it and on paper it looks like the perfect bike for me, bright green, inline 4 engine, nice tech pack, usable street power and hopefully miles cheaper insurance than a ZX6R or an R6.
However I can’t be the only person in the UK seriously considering getting one of these brand new, and god knows how many units Kawasaki are actually going to ship to the UK. Preferably I’d like to test ride one first and think about it for a couple of weeks once they come out (£8k for 400cc is pretty spicy after all) but I’m worried they’ll all be sold out by then. Anyone else having this dilemma? What do you guys think?
I was looking at my savings account today while reconciling my accounts (manual all the way) and usually the number at the top doesn’t really mean much to me since I started YNAB, it’s a number that matches (or doesn’t match) another number and then I either close the app or I get to be a detective for 5mins and work out why they’re different. Even this is a big change for me, because usually as soon as my savings hit anywhere from £1.5-2k my brain would be like “ehhhh I can afford to treat myself” and I’d go on stupid spending sprees for a few days/a week until my savings were at or below £500, then I’d rinse and repeat, constantly yoyo-ing up and down. This had been my pattern for years, e
I hope I can explain this problem in a way that is relatively clear.
Once a month I have to go through a company published workbook and check my stock codes against a large number of rows to see if there’s any action that needs to be taken against certain stock. The issue I have is that many items in this workbook aren’t held by my location so are effectively useless data (15,700 rows total, with maybe only 100 that apply to me) clogging up the data table. Furthermore, a product code might have multiple rows referring to it depending on the number of products from that manufacturer we have.
Previously I have filtered each code one by one using the drop down filter option and copied each se
