How to make a beeswax adhesive for Huichol bead project

I really want to try the beautiful Huichol style bead art. Instructions state that a beeswax and pine sap based adhesive is preferred. I am genuinely stumped- can someone please please help me. How do I make the adhesive? What proportions are used? Is there an alternative to using it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Upakar provides our scholars either:

$10,000 over four years at a university ($2,500 per year) or $2,000 over 2 years at a community college ($1,000 per year) and can receive $5,000 over 2 years at university ($2,500 per year).

Birds in my snow filled backyard

:chat: Just Chatting

My house backs in to a wooded area. When it got very very cold last week I noticed a small bird was trying to eat dried parts of a plant. I had some seeds that I had planned to make seed crackers with, I put them out.

She brought some friends. Then some more.

Seeds ran out.

I gave them Pistachios and pinenuts and puffed rice. They ran out too.

I got a bag of actual bird seed.

My backyard has all these birds now, I downloaded a Bird ID App, so I can tell you that there are Red Cardinal, not so red Northern Cardinal, Scarlet Tanager, phoebe, chicadee, wren, sparrow….

I am very pleased.
