Copying my post from Ultrarunning. Tragic news. The post is copied below, from Facebook (Vespa Endurance):

“Please keep Jeff Browning in your prayers. Tonight I received a text from Bryce Thatcher of UltrAspire informing me that Jeff is in a coma after having what is believed to be a heart attack around mile 80 of the TDS Race at the UTMB World Series in Chamonix, France.

Details remain sketchy and from what we can piece together thus far is this: Jeff's crew posted a video story on social media earlier today, August 25th, where Jeff was at an aid station. He had taken a fall and broke his glasses. He mentions his vision was blurry and he had racked up some bonus miles but he was in good s

“What my understanding is, Christian Gonzalez does not want his contract to be obsolete within seven months. When the new league year comes, and the salary cap goes from $301M to $330M, the first corner who comes up under that new cap is going to sign for $34-$35M? So what Christian Gonzalez would like is not to be treated as if he’s at the table in 2026, but be treated as if he’s at the table in 2027. And he’d prefer for his contract to not be obsolete in 2028 either.”

Curran speculated this on Next Pat’s podcast as well. Thoughts?

Definitely concerning if this is what he wants. But, also makes me think they are close given how much he has practiced.

To start; my partner is my best friend. We’ve spent a tremendous amount of time together and they really understand everything - as much as they can. This is not a question - i’m just looking at understanding how others have navigated and explained this to partners.

Within the past few years i’ve started therapy for anxiety and realized how horrifically dysfunctional my entire childhood/life and family system is - due to a highly narcissistic parent (and enabling other parent). It is now a multigenerational chaotic system that is truly broken beyond repair.

You know the deal: flying monkeys, golden child sibling, roles for all of us. I’ve always been the “different” one. My N-Parent woul

Hi all,

I’m about to begin my Zepbound journey after realizing i’ve spent most of my life in a battle with food noise and my weight.

Is anyone here routinely training for ultramarathon-type events, or training for marathons with high mileage (50+ miles a week?)

I ask because i’ve completed a few 100 milers, and numerous 50k-100km events. I want to continue running and training but have seen some comments about impacts from Zepbound on cardio (and have seen what friends have dealt with first hand).

If you run high mileage or do ultras, what has your experience on Zepbound been like? Did it positively or negatively impact your running? How did you have to change pre-and-intra run nutriti

I’m not sure if you can link posts from X, but what do you all make of the interaction between Phil Perry and Mike Vrabel?

Phil basically asked about Drake Maye’s willingness to get receivers involved (pointing to the Kyle William’s touchdown), and target someone he isn’t 100% on the same page with.

Mike directly answers that: “Well, there never gonna be 100%. No connection’s gonna be 100%.”

Phil Perry tries to cut in, and Vrabel, without missing a beat, “Don’t cut me off Phil.” Phil tried again. Vrabel continues going “No one’s gonna be 100%”. And gives his 30+ second answer about the QB’s job and where the ball goes.

Not surprised to see Vrabel be so direct with Phil Perry (consider

Hi all,

I never thought i’d be posting this but, here goes. We adopted a brother and sister a little over 5 years ago - they’ve been together their whole life.

Our boy was diagnosed with lymphoma a month ago and it was devastatingly aggressive. We had to make the difficult choice to put him to sleep this week, because we were out of all options. I want to thank everyone who had asked/posted/or commented here “it’s better to euthanize a week early vs an hour too late”. It helped make the decision easier when it was clear he was done. It happened swiftly and peacefully while he was in our arms.

My question is two-fold; His sister clearly understood what was going on over the past few mont

Hi all,

First off, a big thanks to all of you. My wife and I just got to Wailea for our two week vacation. We’ve done a ton of reading/watching videos/googling on how to set up our trip to get the most out of each day. This sub was a great starting point to get here and outline most of our trip.

We’re struggling to book our dinners for each night because of HOW many great options there are.

What would you recommend? We are very open for any type of food. Let us know what you’d be eating/booking, and if reservations are needed/optional. Also, any part of the island is fine for us, we’re 100% willing to drive around!

Same applies to lunches/etc., if something is a must-try. Thanks in adv

Hi all,

I recently bought the Patagonia Baggies Natural shorts in “Channeling Spring: Milkweed Mauve”. It’s the pink/tan floral shorts.

I - of course - snagged the matching button down too. But, is there a mens short sleeves Capilene that matched these shorts? That’s my favorite combo in the warm weather - Capilene + Baggies.

Any help on finding a tech top to match is greatly appreciated!
