As the title suggests, I've been thinking about what could have been disclosed about me in the data breach, and I'm not thinking of anything overly concerning.

I did change my email password because it matched my account password, and I changed my Okta password as well.

I have credit monitoring through TransUnion already, and will likely see if it can get strengthened in any way (I'm in a jurisdiction where you can't freeze your credit like you apparently can in the US).

Stripe has my bank account info, not Mercor. Even if they did, they don't have my client card number, which is used to log in to online banking.

Certn was used for the background check. I don't think Mercor recei

Does anyone here have experience with Telus internet? Specifically, is it reliable and consistently as fast as advertised?

I'm moving soon and am considering Telus because of the offer on their website of $79/month for 1.5G fibre and the 5 year price lock. It seems like a really good deal, and I know they use Bell's infrastructure, but I want to make sure it doesn't have considerable down time, connection issues, or speed issues.

I work from home and really need consistent internet access, so I've always paid extra for Bell/Rogers because of the peace of mind knowing that it'll pretty much always be available. However, if Telus is as generally as good, I'd switch and save the money.

To keep things short, I've decided to start my own law practice after having worked at a firm for a couple of years. I have the name reserved for the professional corporation that I'll be incorporating and have found that a domain I'd like to use is available.

What I need help with is designing a website, logo, letterhead, etc. I have some ideas for the logo and a decent idea of what I'd like the website to look like. Neither should be very complicated - I'll write all of the info I want on the website and explain how I'd ideally like the site to look and work and I don't need any sort of payment portal or anything like that. I just don't know how to go about actually making the websi

I've been on Bulda Extensions for a while and started making $40/hour, then it went down to $35/hour about a month and a half ago. I wasn't thrilled with that, but it was fine. Today, it dropped to $15/hour. Did this happen to anyone else? Is this the new project rate that they were talking about earlier this month?

I browsed through a bunch of other threads here and it seems like a lot of other people had their pay drop recently across a range of projects, so I'm just wondering if it's worth sending a message to support or if this is permanent and no longer worth my time.

I have a professor who posts slides with a voiceover/annotation in them instead of giving lectures, which is mostly fine. The problem is that he talks horribly slow, and I was hoping to increase the playback rate to 1.5X or so, but I don't know if that's possible in powerpoint. If anyone knew of a way to do it relatively easily, I'd be very appreciative.

Thanks guys!

For most of today I’ve felt this thing dangling off, or near, the extraction site of my top right wisdom tooth. It feels kinda hard and the black blob of blood moves around. It’s attached to my mouth by what seems to me to possibly be a stitch that hasn’t dissolved yet?

For reference, I had surgery exactly a week ago. But I spent the night in emergency spitting out a mouthful of blood every 10 mins or so a couple nights ago, so I’m a bit wary of pulling or tugging on things, even though this is the top right and the bleeding area was the bottom left.

Here’s the picture:

Having all 4 wisdom teeth removed tomorrow (Friday) and I have a short school assignment that is due Tuesday afternoon.

It’s just an essay proposal that I should be able to do in 8 or so hours. I was thinking a few hours on Sunday, a few more on Monday, and maybe a bit on Tuesday morning if I have to. Basically, I guess what I’m asking is, can I sit in front of my laptop and do research/think for a couple hours 2-3 days after surgery, or will the pain still probably be too much for that?

Hi everyone,

last Wednesday, I went swimming and can remember feeling a sensation of what seemed to be water in my ear that night. By Friday I started to feel some pain in my ear/jaw, which I didn't think much of because my dentist suggested earlier in the month that I get my wisdom teeth removed and I thought this pain was associated with my wisdom teeth being a nuisance again.

On Saturday, I woke up with a rather sharp pain in the same area and some noticeable swelling, though the swelling wasn't anything extreme. I brought the pain down to a manageable level with Advil, but by the evening I started to experience muscle aches and developed a fever that night. The fever continued throu
