Hello. I'm in the process of going through a MMN/ALS/Other diagnostic process with someone in my family, and it's incredibly stressful, of course. I keep finding new information, going down rabbit holes, trying to find alternatives, etc., etc. Part of my mind goes to what could make this process better for all of us.
What resources / apps / information / processes would make or would have made your diagnostic process better?
For me, I think, it would be somehow knowing BEFORE going through surgery for spinal stenosis that there could be other causes for arm / hand weakness, so we could make a more informed decision. How about you?
Probably a stupid question, but their FAQs don't help and the email contact page is broken or disabled. Don't see any way to reach them. I need to have duplicate versions of my books dealt with. So just knowing that would also be helpful. Thanks.
I've seen online where it says the order doesn't matter, so I/TRI would be the same as TRI/I, but in a recent puzzle, I had all 16 (Yes, 16) REBUS entries marked incorrect on check (I was stumped) but then correct once I flipped the order. Is this normal?
Four years ago, meaning an eternity, I published a set of 10 predictions for the future of the country and world -- all dystopian -- largely to see if my concerns for our society and planet were founded or mere pessimism. Here are the basics:

A member of my family underwent ACDF fusion in February due to loss of strength and function in their left hand. Right hand at the time seemed fine. Surgery resulted in C5 palsy and additional loss of strength / function, but otherwise seems 'successful' in that there is no further deterioration of arm/shoulder strength. However, the hand has not recovered despite (a) a subsequent cubital release surgery and (b) an amazing amount of ongoing PT. Their recent EMG showed no problems with nerves on the left side, and thus offered no explanation for ongoing weakness. However, it did show cubital tunnel issues on the RIGHT side now.
My question is, has anyone experienced anything similar and, if
Hi there. New book coming out. Would love some feedback on the current blurb:
Is it murder to kill the genetically modified?
Four teenagers are gunned down at a prestigious private school. Three of them were flawless and beautiful—almost superhuman—but also hateful bullies. The fourth was the vice president’s niece.
Reluctant partners Detective Sara Sanchez and tech billionaire Nathan Marks search for the killer as the world erupts into a war over what it means to be human… or a soulless abomination.
What they don’t know is that the shooting was part of a plot to kill millions. They have only seven days to stop a horror that will tear the world apart.
And the clock starts now.
