What kind of finger style/techniques would be helpful in learning to play in a style like Alan Gogoll?
I’ve damaged my hair a fair bit in the past by the way that I used to dry my hair. Now my hair gets quite frizzy and when I use shampoo or conditioner my hair either feels super fine or very straw like.
The sides and back of my hair can be quite coarse and thick but the top is usually thinner. Could no shampoo help my hair build up more thickness to it and be healthier?
I only recently started learning to play. I started off learning chords with strumming and I think I’m doing okay so far. But, I’m not quite sure where to start with picking. I specifically want to pick with fingers too.
I have tried some picking e.g the intro of “wish you were here” pink Floyd and “it’s all my fault” by sign crushes motorist. But it’s still pretty hard for me to do.
Any tips on where to begin learning?
I’m 19M and I’ve always loved music but only started to learn to play piano last year self taught (currently around a grade 4-5 maybe) and I started the guitar this year. I’ve always enjoyed singing along to songs when they’re playing out loud. But, my singing isn’t exactly the best and I’m not very confident with the singing when there is no music, so it ends up sounding worse.
I’m wondering where could I start, to learn singing, self taught.
Any advice or videos I can use to learn?
I am fairly skinny, I don’t have a lot of fat on my body. However, my face seems like it holds more fat than the rest of my body.
I don’t drink a tonne of water everyday, in fact I usually forget to try and drink enough water a lot. Could water retention be the cause for my face looking more puffy?
I don’t really like anything about myself. In fact, a lot of things I truly hate. But, I just can’t say anything about myself that I like, not even small things. I can’t say I like things such as my eyes/eye colour or my hair or anything others would probably seem as small and something you could start with, to learn to love yourself. I hate pretty much everything from how I walk or talk or just how I act to the way I look or sound and just everything. Does anyone else feel the same way? As though they’re unable to pick out anything they like about themselves.
