I manage phone service for two elderly relatives. Both are currently on a single Red Pocket account and I want to port one of them to another carrier. I have the account login information, but I understand I will need to call customer service to initiate the port since the lines are CDMA. The person whose number I want to port will be with me to verify the port request and can receive a verification code on their phone, but the account owner (for billing purposes) is the other line on the account and this person cannot currently communicate or receive an SMS. Will I be able to get the one line ported?

I'm looking at getting an M3 Slate. For various reasons I strongly prefer to use Firefox for most web browsing. Does Firefox for Android run reasonably well on the Slate?
Second, I have an HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook that randomly turns on Chromevox and starts squawking whenever I use it in tablet mode. This behavior is a documented bug that never got squashed and there doesn't appear to be any way to stop it. Can I be certain that the Slate doesn't have this issue?
Thanks
Just ported from Cricket to USM. (Pixel 9). Tried Dark Star first but could not get past "emergency service only." Support then had me try Light Speed. Strong signal, data works fine, texting works fine. I can make calls to anyone, but I cannot receive calls from my wife and daughter who are on Dark Star. When they dial me the call immediately disconnects without going through. My other daughter who is on T-Mobile (Mint) CAN call me.
Help please!
UPDATE: Everything is working this morning...thanks
My wife lost her phone during a recent domestic trip, and the problems she faced while phoneless have her wanting to take a backup phone on an upcoming international trip. She is on the annual starter plan on Dark Star. I am the owner of the account and won't be traveling with her.
If she takes a second iPhone with her that hasn't previously been used on US Mobile, and has WiFi available on it, can she download an eSIM and transfer her service to the backup phone while outside the US? Could this be done through the USM app or would it require a chat with a rep? She currently has "contributor" status on the account... would I need to give her admin status for her to be able to make t
I'm buying a car from a private party and want both my and my wife's names on the transferred title. We will both sign the original title when I pick up the vehicle. She is going to be out of town for several weeks after that. We need new plates too. Can I get the title and registration work done at the DMV in both our names without her being present to sign?
Can someone confirm that RCS, Visual voicemail and group chats now work properly for iPhones on Dark Star? I'm moving 2 lines to USM from Cricket and I've read that there were issues with these features a year or so ago. We had good coverage with Cricket so prefer to stick with the AT&T network.
Any other issues regarding transition to USM from Cricket? We had Core unlimited on Cricket and are moving to Starter unlimited on USM. Thanks.
I'm planning to trade my Pixel 9 for a Pixel 10 at Best Buy. Pixel 10 is eSIM only, so I'll need to convert my Cricket line from physical SIM to eSIM. I can work with both phones in the store to transfer data etc. but I can't leave the store with the new phone without giving up the old one. So what's the best way to do the conversion to eSIM?
A local locksmith has quoted a Rosslare 425 based system for our 2 door access control project. We'd have to run a Windows server to host the software, if I understand correctly. Not a big fan of that. We want remote admin ability and will use primarily smartphone credentials. Eventually we will probably add video.
There isn't much discussion of Rosslare on this board...is it considered a solid choice for a small project like this? We are looking at other alternatives too.
When used in dry contact mode but powered by AC, does the T2 relay keep track of total on/off time for the switched device in the Aqara app?
I would like to control a dehumidifier using an Aqara temp/humidity sensor and relay. I understand that the sensor reports a humidity value only once per hour unless it detects a change of 6% or more, in which case it reports immediately.
Does this mean the reporting frequency doesn't take into account whether an Aqara automation threshold has been breached?
Eg if I want the dehumidifier to turn on at 60% and the routine hourly reading is 58%, a reading of 62% within the same hour will not be immediately reported because the change is less than 6%? So the THEN action in the automation would't execute until the next hourly report?
I realize that automations in other tools like Home A
Hi, I'm new to Aqara. I need to set up the AC at an often vacant property to run periodically for humidity control, independent of any cooling demand. The thermostat doesn't allow this, so I'd like to link a wireless humidity sensor to a dry contact relay wired in parallel with the 24vac AC control circuit.
Am I correct that I can do this with the Aqara M100 hub, temp/humidity sensor, and a T2 dual relay module (using the dry contacts)?
Importantly...once this is set up with the Aqara Home app, the automation will run completely locally without cloud or Internet? The Internet service at the property is not very reliable. (I realize that without Internet I wouldn't have offsite ac
Is the seat bottom on the Crown sedan noticeably higher from the ground than the Avalon or current Camry? I've seen conflicting reports about this. I have bad knees and am having trouble getting out of modern sedans these days, but don't really want an SUV. I want something where you can slide your butt in or out of the seat without having to bend or climb much. Hard to tell from the specs and I haven't had a chance to try one yet. Thanks.
