Let me preface this by saying I dabble in iron man but I do like the character. He is fun to play at times but it’s undeniable that he is not in the best place in the meta. Thus my question is, how do you guys feel about a minor rework of his abilities? I believe any rework conversation on a character should be up to the community for said character. That said I have some ideas please lmk if that’s something you’d consider

  1. Faster flight speed in Overdrive, say 30% to 50%

  2. 25% damage reduction during ult

  3. Continuing momentum during Overdrive animation after flight, instead of complete stop

  4. targeting system for micro missiles, lock on to enemies’ last known position upon firing.

This might be a hot take but I think if embark sets up a system in which if a player is ousted in game as a cheater, instead of kicking them out of the match completely have every arc in a 200 meter radius focus them and watch them squirm trying to live. And I mean every arc, from ticks to rollers to rocketeers. Once they die and return to lobby the ban can take effect but for the time that they’re in a match it’d be hell for them. I recall a system similar in Call of Duty where cheaters were unable to deal damage to opponents and they lost their minds lmao. It’d be neat as well if the damage nullified against arc could be implemented

I think it would be funny to see, but also be a intere

Devil Dino’s Godzilla fantasy

:Discussion:Discussion

Lemme preface this by saying that I don’t usually play tank, I’m a dps flex player but as much as Dino was hated on by a portion of the community for being a vanguard instead of cyclops, I kinda look forward to playing this character. He fulfills that niche, unstoppable, Godzilla like fantasy for me. Anyone else getting this vibe?

Complexity creep problem

:BalanceDiscussion:Balance Discussion

I’m sure this is already a sentiment but every knew hero added lately has felt like taking the abilities of an older hero and expanding on it with little cons and many pros. For example, BP to DD to Black cat. I’m not sure if I’m the only one to want this but I hope at some point the devs should do revamp seasons when they expand on older characters rather than add new ones. For Christ sake widow has 2 abilities and cost range feels less like a sorcerer/magician than the new addition to the roster. Don’t even get me started on rocket. But that’s all I have to say, lemme know if you agree or not

Idk if this has been brought up a ton yet but I feel like having the dash in the gun is backwards af. Especially given that it has a sweet spot for damage and you want to have some distance between you and your target. The sword, I can understand bc u have to close the gap. I wish he tossed out a boomerang glaive or something like junker queen from OW2. It just doesn’t flow for me, the dash feels like oversimplifying his kit a bit much.

Lemme start by saying that the new BP buffs were exactly what we were missing. Plus an extra 5 damage on top was just chefs kiss, the character just flows better.

I wanna point out that a lot of ppl, including Karkat recommended the cooldown removal and omnidirectional change and it seems to me that to some level the devs are in tune with what the culture wants.

I ask, is there any of u that feel like the passive can go. I find it very situational because I don’t like diving on low health because I wanna play around my team unless I see an ult opportunity or a trade which my team comes out on top if I die.

I have suggestions like

LOW PROFILE: that lets us become undetectable (m

I personally want to see a unique weapon type like a flamethrower, given we already gave a flame spray. Or a unique arc weapon like a pulse cannon that blasts away arc armor like the pulse mine does. Or maybe even a break action double barrel shotgun for the common tier since we don’t have one currently, like a ferro meets il toro cross.

Last post got removed even though it violated no rules, so I’ll just say this again. The free Load outs should be a way to get back in your feet not a no risk high reward pvp spam. The common weapons given to you are arguably better than the ones you craft given the cost factor. Thus a free loadout should be to gather resources and get back in ur feet after a huge loss or casual raid. The only weapon granted should be a hairpin. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

I find that one of the issues I see brought up a lot in discussion regarding pvp is the idea that players are reluctant to bring in higher tier weapons, attachments, or items in general because once they do, they may lose in a fight (rightfully so, thus is the nature of pvp) or worse, they lose it to rats.

I propose this idea. Put a day timer on weapons, attachments, and equipment. Have that item be expired from your stash once the timer hits 0. Have the timer be reduced by a small amount if the player brings the item into a raid. Lastly, have the item’s be fully reset if it’s extracted by a player not in your squad.

For example, the Volcano shotgun gas a 14 day timer, for each raid use
