Maybe some already knew about this... But honestly, I'm surprised by this too. This comes from the discovery of the bamboo slips at the time:

The comparision of \"Yingzhou Gorvenor\" in Simplified Chinese

There is an entire research paper about it from 2 years ago. The author also mentions that Lu Yun's eulogy for Lu Xun refers to him as the "Governor of Yingzhou" not "Jingzhou"

The paper explains the whole situation and why this mistake exists. Unfortunately, I was only able to obtain a few of the papers through online sources (I don't think it's appropriate to share

Hi cultivators

I have a problem: My current character is already in 13th year but has never received an invitation to debate from anyone. I’m not sure if this is just bad luck, people dislike me or a bug. Other active players like Spar, Gift seem to be normally

I think the problem might be that his traits are bad. In my previous unfinished playthrough, my character had what online guides consider “positive” traits, and I received a lot of debate invites (quite annoying). However, I’m also saw some answers on this sub claim that good and bad traits are just a rumor and only apply to NPCs...So my character stats are Internal trait Wicked, External traits are Self-centered, Carefree, Charisma

Hi, I just read a funny topic in a Chinese forum about people's accents in the Three Kingdoms era. They (from what I translated) said Wu would have been the most troublesome because even the native Wu council members would not be able to understand each other, while those who came from the North would have faced a hellish listening test level

So I was wondering if there are any anecdotes about accents or cultural differences recorded in history, and how they solved this problem?

This is the case with the largest number of death sentences in Vietnam: 6. The case is still ongoing in court due to its complexity

On the 3rd day of Tet (2/7, Lunar New Year) 2019 in Vietnam, when everyone was expected to gather with family, breaking news shattered that moment the whole country. A girl who had been missing since the evening of the 30th day of Tet (2/4) 2019 was found dead in an abandoned house in Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province.

The victim was Cao My Duyen, a 21-year-old girl (Vietnamese name: Surname is "Cao", name is "Duyen" This applies to all the names mentioned in this post)

[PC][2000s] A horror thief game

Heist II: Greed Is Hell
  • Platform: PC browser flash game.
  • Genre: First person, point and click, 2D.
  • Estimated year of release: I think maybe around late 2000s.
  • Graphics/art style: Dark, gloomy (kind of like the browser flash game Dark Cut). I remember when I clicking under the stairs, there was a cutsences show green acid drop and the thief's face got burned and scream in pain, quite bloody. Notable characters: You play as a thief and wear a typical thief mask. There is a mystery person lay in bed (dead, I think?) but disappear after you take money from him, after that there is a mystery person appear outside the window (maybe the same person lay in bed).
  • Notable gameplay mechanics: I don't finish the gam
