What’s up gang, first post here. Welcome to my TIFU:E30 edition. Obligatory “this happened last week” as I’ve needed some time to emotionally recover from my fuck-up.
So Tuesday morning I go out to my garage (dimly lit, cold, new-England one-car garage) planning to fire up my ‘88 325i vert to head to work (yes I daily my vert in New England, f the haters, turn up the heat (yeah, I’m an idiot(foreshadowing))) and guess what, she doesn’t start. I find it odd because I just ran out to grab avocados for NYE guac the evening before. Not to mention all my lights are on per usual startup, battery shows 12V on a DMM, no click, no crank. I assume she’s dead and my luck's run out.
So I call my b
Also have Quaxly/Sprigatito for payment if needed :)
Probably most individual sirens I’ve heard in the city for a while. Sounds like an apartment near State. Hope everyone is alright
I’ve talked about this in-depth with my close friends, and the fact that swaps exist is indicative of challenges that aren’t properly scaled to the reality of the effort/scenario required to complete them.
An ideal challenge system would not have swaps and be based on achievability and difficulty in ANY game type/mode/playlist/map/player quantity/vehicle pool.
Just as “destroy 2 banshees in a BtB match” is outrageous and RNG-based, as is “melee kill 25 players in last Spartan standing”. Banshees don’t appear on every BtB map/mode, and melee kills in a tactical stealth mode where players are hiding are highly unlikely.
Many of these challenges are too difficult or random, requiring the
Obviously a lot of you agree with this sentiment, or just hate the fact that you can only complete 4 challenges at a time - I’ve got a wild idea for 343i and Microsoft:
Replace every challenge swap in the battle pass with 200 credit payouts.
With challenge swaps out of the game, make all challenges in your challenge bank unlockable simultaneously.
Lastly, reduce the price of all shop items by 40%.
With these changes implemented, people will more acceptably grind battle pass tiers, get more challenge unlocks regularly, and own more cosmetics from lower shop prices and a constant influx of credit rewards.
Is this concept really that hard to hard to implement? I doubt it.
