Hi all

Wondering if anyone who has had the pleasure of terminating a letting agent could share their experience.

I have a single property which i let out. I have an agreed % figure with them for rent collection only, no management. The t&c clause says this fee is payable forever as long as it’s the same tenants, but i’m also reading online that this ‘forever fee’ could be an unfair contract term as i’m a consumer not a business myself.

My questions are
- is this really classified as an unfair contract term?
- can I terminate the letting agent agreement and not pay this forever fee?
- or is this just internet nonsense and not possible?

The agent is only acting as rent collectio

Hi all

Anyone seen a big sudden drop off in used car prices this month?

I’ve been tracking the value of my lease car the past few months, to get an idea if i want to buy it at the end of the lease in September.

I have, of course, used the oracle of pricing…webuyanycar to track this. (Only after a rough feel for pricing)

However. This month the offer has dropped 25%!

Jan £23,760

Feb £23,250

Mar £22,915

Apr £16,895

I can fathom why the April price drop soo much!

Any thoughts?

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can tell me how vinted will handle this situation.

I sold a par of shoes, shipped via the lockers drop off where you don’t put a label on and the shipping agent (inpost) add the label when collecting the parcel from the locker.

Well. They put the label it seems on the wrong package and instead of my buyer receiving the shoes they received a ladies tshirt.

Any idea how Vinted will resolve this one?

Thanks
