My brother in law recently got engaged. We are super excited for them, and were totally prepared to fly long distance (in Canada), as we live in different places. We are paying for them to fly for our wedding this summer, as also paid for a suit for my BIL as he didn’t have one and isn’t working right now.

They are now floating the idea of a wedding in Madagascar, maybe Fiji, or somewhere tropical that no one has been to (and isn’t connected to our families). Flights to Madagascar - a minimum of $2500 round trip with multiple overnight layovers.

Even at the best of times, I think asking this of your family is disrespectful, because you are just pushing wedding costs onto them. But with

I have been using the Sunday Riley C.E.O serum for 6 months, love the product - looks great under makeup, delivers the brightening effect I like, and overall, I would love to keep using it. That being said, the product is obscenely expensive, and I'm having a tough time justifying repurchasing it. I can't help but feel like there have to be other good vitamin C/brightening serums out there.

Does anyone have any vitamin C recommendations that wear well under makeup that are under the $80 range? Or products that are above $80 but maybe have more product than CEO?

I have previously tried:

- Topicals Faded Serum - the smell to me is absolutely foul, and I hate the packaging because of how

Hi everyone,

Wanted to share my experience and also get some feedback/advice.

Recently found out I was pregnant with my second copper iud - luckily I’m very early along and have access to the medical care I need. Iud is in the correct spot, so my doctor will be removing it and sending it to the company to see if there was a defect in the product.

That being said, I’m a bit torn on what birth control to have this iud replaced with. I love the idea of an iud or longer term form of birth control but this situation has me a bit shaken up - I’m thinking of switching to the mirena just for confidence (not sure I trust the copper now) but I’d love to hear from anyone who has been in this situ

Had to go to the grocery store today (wearing my mask obviously) and I noticed a vegan walking around the store, breaking distance rules and mask selection to talk to staff and other shoppers about veganism (he approached me before seeing my cart was only vegan foods and was quite in my face!) It left me super conflicted, so I wanted to ask my fellow vegans what their opinion was!

On one hand, it’s awesome that someone is trying to educate shoppers about the products they are buying before they buy them! On the other hand, he is putting other people at risk (particularly employees) to spread that information by breaking distancing rules and store protocols, which would make a lot of people

Hey everyone! Quick question for the recent graduates!

If you are an artsci, is your major shown on your diploma? I have a friend graduating from another university and her degree doesn’t list her major! I can’t find anything online, so I was hoping people here could help! Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I could really use some support and advice right now. I have been out with my friends for years, and recently (a year or two ago) came out to my sister. I have had a super positive experience coming out as bisexual to all of those people (particularly because I went to school at a pretty liberal university and had some amazing friends) and have received a lot of support from them. I still have been scared to come out to my parents - my mom makes comments pretty frequently about my bisexual friends (the classic 'are you sure she just isn't gay?' type of nonsense) and my dad is more conservative. Not to the point of coming out being unsafe, but I'm just extremely nervous and sca

I have quite short nails due to my medications and I’m looking to get gel extensions done. A few salons here have quite rude, judgemental staff that make me feel even worse about my natural nails. Does anyone have any recommendations for salons with quality nail techs?

I’m so glad everyone is enjoying the impossible burger and everything, and while a discussion about certain topics or answering questions is great, I don’t think anyone needs to see a thousand pictures of a half eaten burger - it doesn’t really add to the sub, and it’s actually a little unappetizing to see half eaten food on here!

There are lots of them on here, so if people have comments, posting it on thread is probably better for people to get good information about the product!
