I usually throw garbage out myself and clean my room myself. I don't want anyone in my room at all with my personal belongings.

I pack my own towels and soaps aswell. Doesn't matter what tier hotel it may be. Also you avoid the tipping which they feel entitled to getting for doing a job they get paid for.

anyone else do this?

tipping has never been a thing in saudi culture but this new wave of western culture has creeped into mecca and madina.

I literally had no bags with me except my own backpack and two bell boys followed me to the hotel room and stood and waited for a tip. Hotel was small and I knew where to go lol but sure. I was confused they literally did nothing but push the button on the elevator and open my hotel room door.

I did tip them but I only had probably like 20 riyal cash on me. They took it with a weird look and walked off. I was puzzled. Did I offend them?

Not only are they expecting a tip everywhere you go but they are even expecting it to be a big amount it seems since you are from the

My cousin has been living in saudi for a few years so he decided to buy a car and he was just laughing at how these loans claim to be "halal" or interest free when they have been re worded and re worked to appeal to the salafist structure of the country.

Many major car dealerships in Saudi Arabia partner with Islamic banks to offer structured installment plans where the financing cost is bundled into a fixed cash price rather than calculated as floating interest.

The price is marked up so the same effect as a interest based loan

example:

a "haram" loan would:

$20k usd car with 7.99% would be total $26 438 all taxes in (taxes vary based on location)

so you are paying $552 monthly on

it always feels like you managed to just get it out in this particular sitting due to some preparation.

and when time lapses its weak again when you come back to it in your cycle.

is this due to weak memory or common for everyone?

Oiling my trimmer (andis t liner) causes alot of pimples for alot of my customers with more sensititve skin due to the mineral oil on the blade.

Any suggestion what to do?

Can we use something like jojoba oil or grape seed oil? Any non pore cloggin oil?

What do you guys usually do to avoid this?

I myself have sensitive skin and the mineral oil does break me out aswell

Praying 5 times isnt easy BUT on top of all that we dont even know if its accepted.

Many hadith emphasising

-your prayers arent accepted if or your doomed to hell if you took out interest

-Your going to hell if your parents arent happy, no accountability for the parents? What if the parents on drugs and a narcisistic person? What are you suppose to do? Or sexually abusive? Islam seems to have a open door policy with exploiting yoir children for your own agenda. No rights or emphasis placed on nurturing or mental stability, confidence etc...

-if you cut ties with family. Well my cousins ran off and never want to talk to our family. But I gotta live with the cutting ties thing now

so we all do it some of us more than others as we are all sinners and its through allahs mercy we can even recite the little bit of quran we can.

my question for the huffadh and memorizers is how do you protect yourself?

I find myself falling into these things then feeling very low and then feeling like I'm not worthy of the quran and then end up avoiding quran out of guilt and feeling like a hypocrite.

How do you guys deal with post sinning effects and I do notice it all effects the memory and retention as a whole.

it effects the motivation the most.

thought?

I know this topic is uneasy but its the reality. we all want to seem more pious even if we dont wanna admit it.

Thrown from the Second Floor, Now I’m Exposing the Secret Slaves of the Middle East

^Video link from youtube

Mary Wanjiru from kenya survived a murder attempt recently from her saudi boss. she lived to tell about it and and now exposing all the dark secrets. This is her story of survival, resilience, and the shocking truths about being a domestic worker in Saudi Arabia.

Watch as she shares the harrowing events that changed my life forever and the hidden realities of this industry.

Absolutely disgusting. I'm done with the arabization and arab supremacy. How about humanization of the world.

90

It left a bad taste and tainted the experience and it really made me take a deep dive into arab supremacy and the praising of arabs by every non arab muslim.

When I was in saudia (mecca and medina) Nobody arab replies to your salam. Only person that replied was the hotel clerk because its a job.

No shop keeper replied, no taxi driver replied except one out of like 12.

I started to notice. In the local mosques in mecca outside the haram in the localities the bengali and pakistani workers werent allowed to stand in the front suffs they had to wait for the arabs to make there lines and then they stay back in the suffs.

Me being a tourist i stood in the front and noticed nobody sto

we need to stop this culture of belittling our indo pak hifdh culture/teachers when we used it. dont use it and then go to the arabs trying to impress them.

I seen this so much.

guys willl grow up going to madressa and use alif bay tay like urdu style qaida

then learn to read quran and do hifdh on the 13 liner mushaff

lead taraweeh a few years then finaĺly decide to get a egyptian teacher or go to medina university or something then switch to the madani 15 liner and then come back to the community and belittle its efforts and style of teaching

it is the indo pak movements that started these hifdh institutes and created the sabaq, sabaq para and dhor review system that the arabs are foll

this guy started saying all types of weird stuff like we are in the streets.

did i do something wrong? didnt push him back and wasnt aggresive. he was pusbjng me and i got fed up said theres ladies in front of me and be patient in the house of allah.

i still feel filthy for engaging
