Hi all, I hope this is ok to post here. I'm currently taking care of my parents' house. They have 10 hummingbird feeders. I'm coming over every other day to change the hummingbird food and keep the feeders clean. I'm looking for a way to safely ask the bees to relocate, just while I'm working with the feeders. I have a serious allergy to bees and wasps, and being so close to dozens of them makes me nervous

Zucchini season has already hit in the valley. My parents, bless their hearts, planted SEVEN zucchini/summer squash plants, then left town for the next 2 months (being retired sounds amazing).

I am a student, working by myself in an art studio, so I have no one to give them to. Later in the year, EVERYONE and their mother will be trying to pawn off squashes on unsuspecting victims. The food bank won't take them because too many people donate them.

Please, for the love of squash, give me your best zucchini or summer squash recipes! I am specifically looking for something that I can make in a batch that will work as a side dish or a base for protein that I can have for lunch all week (I wil

Hey all, I have been an RBT for almost 3 years (right now I'm an RBT 2, working on my ARBT), but I have only been with my current company since January. I was an independent contractor with the school district, so I had very little contact with my BCBA, other than sending her my logs, and the occasional check in when I had to complete an incident report. I started in home clients 2 weeks ago.

As I mentioned, I am in home. My BCBA doesn't get much time to observe my client.

If you were the BCBA, would you feel offended if your RBT suggested programs? For example, this client needs to take a health monitor with him, and he frequently forgets it. I want to suggest a program to increase his in

I know that you think "I have soooo much time the holidays are so far away!"

They're not. Get started!

Last year, I spent the night before Christmas eve (which is when my partner's family exchanges gifts) crying into a double boiler trying to finish all the salves and oils I started. I never actually finished the labels. Anyone who lived out of state got theirs REALLY late.

I recently got an email from my work (a large corporation) saying that they erroneously paid out more paid time off than I had accrued, and that I now OWE them $120 (the amount of extra PTO they had paid me). This was due to an error with the scheduling software they use.

Here's my question: is it legal for my employer to ask me to pay them money, due to a mistake on their end?

I know that $120 is not a lot (I'm living paycheck to paycheck, so it is kind of a lot for me, but with a payment plan I could do it) but it's the principle of it that irritates my over inflated sense of justice.

Thank you all so much for your advice!
