Male 23 I’m terrible at finding out if a girl is showing interest or just being friendly here’s the story: I went to a birthday party for a girl I met at a previous party. It was a karaoke party, and while I was there, I ran into her roommate, who I had actually met before. She’s really nice, but it seems like her roommate the host isn't particularly great to her.

At the party, I was just hanging out, and then I started talking to her. She seemed super happy to talk to me and sat really close. What I noticed most was her body language: she turned directly toward me and was even pressed knee-to-knee with me.

I can never tell with girls, so I’m not sure if there was real attraction there. Ho

Male, 23. I don’t know how to explain this, but I’m comfortable doing things myself and I'm used to being alone. However, I don’t actually want to be alone though I stick with it because it’s easy, which feels like an excuse. I’m afraid of messing up a relationship or it being embarrassing because I genuinely don’t know what to do, having never been in one. Still, I would like to be in one.

I can make friends with women and get their instagrams and build somewhat connections, but I don’t seem to push for more or understand how to make that shift, so I just keep them as friends. Mentally, it feels like I'm giving myself an excuse not to try, which adds to me being unable to explain or figur

Male, 23. I want to get more sexually experienced. I’m still a virgin, and I almost need like a walkthrough for guys like me who have not had a lot of experience with women sexually. I’ve gone to strip clubs and made out with a woman at a club, but it’s like I’m nervous to go out and do this stuff cause I’m inexperienced or to get to the end goal. I envy the dudes who can get a 'friends with benefits' because they can try things and understand how things work, if you know what I’m trying to say?

I feel like a loser asking this but I don’t got anyone to help me with this issue so now I’m here.

I don't see myself as a person who could get laid, even though it's what I want the most I’m Male, 23. In a way, I feel like I don't deserve this. The most I have ever gotten was making out with a chick last year at a club. I'm afraid of approaching women at clubs or bars lately as I feel they will dehumanize me. I'm afraid women will because I don't reach their standards.

When I view myself as someone who could get laid, I don't see that as me. I feel that's for people who are better not something I could see myself achieve.
That's a level that has always been above me, and I don't know where it began. The only thing I can sit here and say is I felt this way in high school about myself.

Male 23 done with dating apps. I’ve noticed I’m just going in circles with them from getting zero results to getting a spark, planning dates only to get ghosted, or getting no dates at all. Beyond that, I’m not even approaching women in real life anymore, and that’s a real problem. These apps make me question my self-worth and bring me down as an individual. I’ve fallen into this mindset that if women aren't matching with me on an app, it must mean no one would be interested in real life, and it’s destroying my self-esteem. I don't know if that’s actually true, but I think the apps need to go.

Male, 23. I’m already not the type to pay attention, so this is already hard, but I was walking with one of my classmates. He’s a big guy not obese and not muscular, just a bigger dude and he’s an alright-looking dude. I wouldn’t really know; I don’t check dudes out. He’s also got a girlfriend.

The point is, knowing a bit about him, he was walking with me and he said, "This girl is looking at me," and he kinda turned around while walking to look back at her. I never even noticed.
My question is: how the fuck do you know if they are?

Growing up, I never got female attention like that, but now that I’m older, people tell me I’m handsome and that I should use my looks. So, how do I know if

So I’ve been talking to this girl on Hinge, and she says she is free weekends to go out. It’s weird I’ve wanted a girlfriend, but now when it’s time to go on a date, I’m nervous. Like wtf, why am I being a pussy about it now? I am very inexperienced (I’m still a virgin), but why is this happening? I’m getting what I wanted. If I don’t do this, I’m just going to bitch about how I can’t get a date. Like wtf is wrong with me?

Male, 23. I’ve come to the conclusion I’m not enough, and I do it to myself. As a person, I’ve never had sex, and I’ve craved intimacy for a while now. It’s gotten to me several times in my life; I start to get heartache in my chest just thinking about it sometimes.

I don’t have the balls to walk up to a chick and ask for her number. Obviously, you should start with a bit of small talk, but you know what I mean. Ever since I was young, I was rejected all the time by women, and it started to develop in my head that I will probably be alone for the rest of my life. I won’t be enough, and it’s become almost a staple in my head that my body naturally obeys.

I’ve gotten used to the fact that I

Male 23 I’m straight and I’m working on my Hinge profile, and my friend’s girlfriend helped me with it. Then, one of my friends who’s gay said she did me dirty. Now, I’m stuck at a crossroads.

If I want help getting women with my profile, I shouldn’t be asking women how to get women at least, that’s what I’ve learned from trying to date them. But would it be the same or different if my friend who is gay helped me? He’s a cool dude, but would he be able to help me, or what? Whenever I ask one of my other straight friends if it’s good, they just say, 'Sure.'" That’s it no input and then I make not a lot of progress.

(also I know dating apps are shit I’m with that but it’s just that little b

Male, 23. I went to my first party last night at a dorm. When I was at this party, I would try to include myself in conversations, but even when I was in a circle and commented on something, I would never be acknowledged, so it was hard.

One of the dudes also called me "buddy" not in a mean tone, but more like, "you're new to this sort of stuff," which I was. He was cool, but it made me feel like such a loser you know, the kind of guy you need to hold his hand, which I don't need. It was really awkward, and I also didn't really know what to do with myself, as I didn't really know anyone.

Also when I first got there I introduced myself to the only two chicks there so far and then I just kin

Male, 23. I’m a nerd and I like nerdy things like anime, video games, computers, etc., but I’m not weird about it (as in dressing as an anime character in public, if you get what I mean). I would like to meet a girlfriend with similar interests, but how do I do that?

If I like those things, the only options that come to mind are events like anime conventions. I don’t hate the people who go to those, but for me, it just seems a bit much. I hope I’m explaining this right. I’m a nerd, but I’m not weird, and I don’t know where to go to meet someone who’s the same way.
