Howdy! I acquired this backpack radio today and the ground alligator-clip wire and pop-up antennae are missing. I separated the two halves (had to break two of the connecting posts but did get it open without external damage) and am confused at how the pop-up antenna assembly actually connected and functioned. I understand it was a tuner of sorts and the ferrite core (presumably) is still in the little tube. Does anyone have any experience repairing one of these, or owns one that can be opened and photographed?

Hi! Does the adapter automatically switch between 2d and 3d controller mode, is it a magic button combo press, or does it not support native 3d analogue control at all?

TIA!

The case I bought for my 3DS is a little snug and the shoulder buttons depress when put in (if I boot it first with 3DS opened the camera launches when inside the case).

Any technical issues with that? I don't want to wear out the shoulder button mechanics.

Cheers!

I sold some rare video games recently to an American bidder. The ColecoVision games, from good old K-Tel ca.1983, literally say on their boxes that they are manufactured in the USA.

I filled out the customs paperwork accordingly and the buyer received the goods via FedEx within a week without any tariffs charged. I figured he was in the clear given the product was delivered, but he sent me a photo about 5 days later of paperwork he just received from FedEx charging 35% tariffs on the products. This was not chump change - the tariffs cost him an extra $550 USD.

It strikes me as criminal that first off they charged tariffs on a product made in the USA that does not take a whole lot of resea

Hi all,

I have my streamer set up to control my USB-connected Klipsch The Fives speaker volume, which is not controlled by HDMI-CEC or ARC. It's USB out from the streamer. Each time the Streamer resets, it's internal volume resets to 3 out of 15. That means the volume that is passed along to the USB speakers is very low, so that even maxing out the speaker volume results in quiet audio. I need to have the streamer retain its higher volume (15) after a reboot. Is there a way to do this? It's super annoying that it defaults to 3.

After about seven years our Douglas Bed king mattress lost its firmness where we slept, but not around us or in the middle. This is with regular rotation. The result was that you'd essentially sleep angled away from the centre and deeply imbedded in the memory foam.

We tried taking photos per their warranty requirements but without any weight on top it doesn't show up as a measurable dip. I provided photos with a 30lb kettle bell showing just how far it sinks in certain areas while not in others, as well as an explanation of our back pain issues, but they simply stopped responding to emails.

TL;DR: Terrible customer experience. Would never buy again. Bought a competing brand and are now

I managed to get to late stage game (Frogman) using nothing but food pellets since I accidentally killed my only moth earlier in the game by dropping it in the tank. 🙄. By copying the savegame file containing pellets I kept everyone on life support. Little did I realize the Frogman is more discerning and requires grubs.

It's perhaps a long shot but does anyone have a save game state with grubs and or moths in your inventory, and would be able to export that to a VMI file that I can grab from you? From there I can make a CDI of it to import into my VMU. I'm really surprised there is no save game for Seaman floating around the internet.

Worst case, I'll someday start a new game just to get

Hi all,

I have a Win 98 computer with functioning serial port and NCK 2.0 installed. Trying to connect to original MessagePad.

The cable I have has (at the DB9 side) pins 2, 5, and 3 (TxD-, gnd/RxD+, RxD-) but not HSKI/O/GPIO pins 1, 6, and 4 connected. As far as I can tell that appears to translate to DSR/DCD and DTR.

The Newton doesn't register a connection, and I suspect it's because the cable isn't fully wired. Sigh. Can anyone please confirm if the extra pins are indeed required?

Thanks!
