Just starting my first set up. Went with a 5.8 rush max solo. I’m get great signal when I stop but as soon as I’m moving and the antenna is flopping around the signal dies. What antenna would you get. I was looking at snubby or more like a router antenna. My guess is I would want a lower db antenna. Any help would be great.
I was looking to convert it over. I see Weber says that it could be unsafe to do. Has anybody done this with success or destroy their grill doing it? It’s a Genesis 2 s435
It’s the first ingredient in everything. I’d rather buy a small saltless rub and salt to taste than have a big jar of seasoned salt. Anyone have any rubs they like that are at least low in salt?
I’m having a bbq for about 20-25 people and want to do Argentinian asado style barbecue where meats are coming off the grill bassicly all night kinda finger foods
. I love to cook and bbq so I dont mind cooking all night hanging out by the grill. What do you think of this schedule. Sides like salad and potato’s will come out at about 6:30
Dinner schedule
4:30 (Kickoff)
Provoleta + first sausage
Round finish
5:00–6:30 (Build phase)
Iberico pork belly (thin and cooks fast) in small cycles
Occasional sausage top-ups
6:30–7:30 (Bridge to main)
Second sausage wave
Maybe a small teaser of beef if needed
Side dishes come out.
7:15–8:30 (Main event window)
Skirt
It’s a 3 pound pastrami if that makes any difference. It’s also a “lean brisket” so my thought was since there’s less fat to render 275 to be done quicker would make it more moist. Planning to wrap at 160 pull at 200.
What’s the cheapest way to get them here. I think only a few are registered. Most were from grandpa. I don’t mind the drive but is it legal to drive cross country like that?
