I've been trying to climb out of the abyss of poverty and isolation this year. A job, something like a coffee place, would be nice. I currently have a 12~ year gap that reflects the peak of aforementioned abyss. I'm not sure what to do about it, but aside from that, also just general polishing tips. So I'm searching someone who's pretty good with resumes who wouldn't mind helping. I will try to pay your generosity towards me forward.

To everyone who got me the canned fish and cereal and PB, it really means a lot. It's been hard for a long time and this is inspiring. I kind of want to open up a little now that everything is shipped out, otherwise that word may seem a bit too empty without context. I'm basically in a situation where I know things will continue to be hard and there will almost certainly be some very bad days. These good surprises are going to help me a lot in those upcoming days even after they're gone. I've made a resolution to not let this go, to fully appreciate it, to just bring a little bit of extra gratitude into every day because I'm going to need a lot of strength for what's coming. That's all I wan

Hello. Trying my best, and I run out of SNAP benefits at the end of every month. Things are generally very tight on the last week. I never go out to eat and cook everything at home to save as much money as possible. I plan to have my benefits reduced this year because I'll be starting work after a really rough decade+, just doing what I can to work on myself, working with two therapists which insurance covers thankfully, and so I hope this is the last time I have to ask for something like this.

I've asked for this once before during Covid and once after, when they cut extra SNAP benefits that showed up during Covid, but basically these two staples last a very long time when bought in bulk. We run out of SNAP towards the end of the month here(I have about a week to go before I get new SNAP, I'm on zero right now) and it would help a ton right now.

I'll separate this into 3 donations because the total cost is going to be 210. Normally meetups charge their members, but I want this group to be free because I personally have struggled socioeconomically, and so I don't want money to get in the way of something this important for anyone. I'm in a big city but it seems like it's a deeply lonely place despite how populated it is. So I'm confident this will do a lot of good. It may not sound like much but having a place where people can relate when they have no one, is actually pretty huge. So I hope to organize that with your help. I'm open to thanking you by name on the group's page for helping to start the group if you want to be named, jus

I'll be organizing one this year. Since I'll be using the site Meetup to coordinate this, the way that works is many groups charge their members. I don't want money to be the limiting factor for people who are struggling with this, so I'm currently raising funds(more info about this on my profile). We'll meet in Williamsburg but I'm planning to have it open to people from all over the city. If this subject interests you (either because you'd like to participate or help or have suggestions), I'd like to hear from you.

Hello, I'm posting this in an effort to organize a meetup for people in NYC who experience things like social anxiety, loneliness, shyness, struggles with eye-contact, depression, etc. I think it's a pretty major problem in the city, despite it being so packed and active. This seems like a global problem to a degree and the reasons are complicated, but the bigger point is a community like this would do a lot of good and make a difference in the lives of those who really could use it. I'm certain of that, and so I'm willing to organize it and help people who are struggling. It's $210 for a whole year on Meetup, so that's what I'm asking with this gofundme(I am on public assistance and would j
