After 5 punctures in a little over 500Km I decided that I had had enough and finally made the switch to a solid rear tire, as all my punctures thus far had been on the rear tire. Before anyone asks, yes I did keep the pressure in check.

I am writing this in order to hopefully provide some useful information to anybody else considering making the switch. A lot of the things I had read in advance simply did not match up with reality.

Performance: Unchanged, if anything it feels slightly better, but that is almost guaranteed to be placebo.

Ride Quality: Definitely worse, but not bad. The Zero 9 has front and rear suspension which I now realize work quite well as the riding experie

Ok so I feel like I can not be the only one who is sick and tired of idiots asking the same questions about the D4V2 day in and day out, just because they can not be bothered to do 5 seconds of research and read one of the many, many existing threads. This is basically r/D4V2 at this point. Yes it is a great light, but man do I hate how much the same threads get spammed over and over again.

So on to my suggestion. Can we make a D4V2 sticky and just leave that pinned in the subreddit and then remove all D4V2 purchasing advice threads? I much prefer quality over quantity and would much rather have less posts but a higher overall quality, instead of the same thread over and over again just be

Several times a week we get questions like "How do I soundproof my 1 square meter bedroom with paper thin walls so that my neighbors can not hear me?" And I am kind of tired of seeing them. They are not wrong for asking but what annoys me is that we constantly get the same question. Therefore I suggest that we make a sticky or a FAQ or some sort where we can answer this once and for all in a proper way, and then get rid of all the people posting the same thing constantly because they can not search.

Edit: Grammar, and yes I know room treatment and soundproofing are two different things, but I believe that a sticky would be useful for both.

When I first got into drinking whisky many years ago and I stuck my nose into the glass, it felt just like I had stuck my nose into the very barrel the whisky came from. I could clearly and strongly smell the wood and the smoke, it was a pretty impressive experience. With time however I have noticed that that entire sensation is gone. Rather than smelling the wood, and the barrel, and the flavors, I kind of just smell.. whisky but nothing particular.

Has anybody else gone through the same experience or do I just sound like a lunatic?

Hej,
