Hi I was trying to decode the Meteor M2-4 satellite today on SatDump and was receiving it reasonably well as seen in the middle (doppler makes it about 137.95mhz). However I started getting this weird cutting in and out thing with these three signals. My M2-4 signal is still there but I have no idea why these signals are there.

Initially I thought that there was a loose connection but everything was tight and what confuses me the most are those extra signals (like the ones at 137.52, 137.7 and 137.95mhz).

Christchurch was geocoded and he explains it in his video...

Is it possible to receive from the Meteor M2-3 and M2-4 sattelites with just the RTL-SDR kit? I bought the kit and I've heard from varying sources whether it is or isn't possible. I would like to know before spending more money on filters and LNAs.

Basically I have been attempting to receive from these sattelites and in Satdump I would be getting Viterbi sync but no Deframer lock. I've heard that the deframer is notoriously hard to lock onto. When I have been recording, at passes over 30 degrees, I often can't get that obvious "loaf of bread" on the waterfall but get a lot of static and a higher than usual BER.

Sure, it’s leading the future. But from a normal person’s point of view, it actually looks terrible. What AI model did they use to make it? It looks like it was generated 3 years ago. The mouths are out of sync and everything looks like it’s in slow motion.

Don’t even get me started on the creative industry. As being a videographer/photographer I absolutely hate this piece of garbage and I’m happy that no one else is doing it.

Just sharing my thoughts.

Picture this: Im at Barrington bus station, about to board the 44 to Westmorland. Im waiting at the stop to get on, after people are getting off, when the bus driver decides to give no warning and closes the door on me and 3 elderly ladies. The next bus wasn’t near, in fact it was 20 minutes away, and Im just disgusted about how the Kinetic staff treated us.

I just hate the bus network in Christchurch and wish we had something better.
