Dr Anthony Fauci was recently subpoenaed by the US Senate to answer questions regarding the origin of Sars-Cov-2. This NPR article notes that he repeatedly invoked the Fifth amendment to decline to answer questions. Rand Paul, who has repeatedly sparred with Fauci (see another NPR article) on the subject, said that he would as a result push to hold Fauci in contempt of congress.
