Some car specs: 2015 VW Jetta 1.8L (tsi), 5 speed manual, push button start
Battery replaced last fall
Issue: Last Monday (6/10/24), I go to start the car and nothing. I got a flicker of lights (<1sec) and then just dead. No lights, I keep pressing the button and nothing happens. I do the emergency restart (press key fob to spot on steering column) and nothing.
I check batter voltage: 12.6v
After about 30mins, the car comes back to life and starts - without me touching it at all. It's acting as if I disconnected/reconnected the battery and I have to reset the clock and all that.
Starts fine for the rest of the week until I can take it to the shop, drives fine. I drove it only a coupl
My pup is 3 yrs and has started taking balls at the park - not always stealing, usually some nasty left over tennis ball.
We bring our own ball, and he loves fetch. Once he finds and gets a second ball, fetch is over, he won't give up either ball and I basically chase him around to take him home. When it involves stealing I also.have to deal with a (rightfully) upset dog owner as well.
I'm kind of at my wits end. We literally just left the park after less than 5 mins. High value treats don't work.
I'm thinking we are maybe done with all parks? I dunno, but I'm at my wits end.
Today at the Upper Douglass dog park my dog was attacked by an aggressive German Shepherd named Penny - this has happened several times and I have asked nicely before for this dog to be leashed and today I lost it 'cause this dog is going to kill someone's dog someday.
The owner kept asking if my dog was neutered (which he is, and I've said this before to this person.) We were on the other side of the park, minding our own business when this dog came up to us and attacked my dog. The owner then said that maybe my dog did something to upset his dog, and I lost it. It's ridiculous to think my dog could have done anything from the other side of the park - and this has happened with this partic
First, I wanna say that generally my pup is very good. 9.5mos, gsd/rottie mix. But MAN, this week there has been one particular challenge.
Part of the wood frame on my window is gone bc this jerk is FIXATED on chewing on it. Even if I leave the room to just go to the bathroom, I walk back in and find him there. The only time it isn't happening is bed time (he sleeps in his own "big boy bed" not with me.
Some backstory: we've been working on having more freedom in the apt when I'm not home. We've been working on it for months, with some back and forth but nothing was super drastic (a pillow was destroyed once, nbd). I've been leaving some clothes behind and things started to get steadily b
