I don't know how common knowledge this is, but I figured I'd share. Many people know that in unpatched versions of the game, Drain Intelligence [your current INT] 1 sec fully restores your Magicka, but that is understandably seen as an exploit/unintended, and the interaction is changed in things like OpenMW.

However, the logic that led to that interaction made me realize a less-exploit-y way to restore your magicka. For those who don't know, the 0 Intelligence exploit worked because your Magicka maximum would be 0, leaving you with 0/0 Magicka, which is "100%", and when your Intelligence changes, your current magicka % stays the same. Meanwhile, when you Fortify Magicka (or Health/Stamina),

I had an alt (literally just u/StePK_alt) that I used to save NSFW subs/content separate from my main account. I never even commented with it (which is maybe why it got deleted? Inactivity/no posting?). When I try to log on now, though, Reddit says the account doesn't even exist, and I can't even try to address it unless I'm logged on to the account...

When I check the user page in old Reddit, it says there's nothing there. Is there any way to get it back? Should I just make a new alt account? As far as I was aware, I never received any warnings for inactivity or anything, and I didn't even have any activity that could break rules over, so I'm kind of surprised.

Since the release of the original Guns & Gears, I don't think I've seen literally any discussion regarding the two double-barreled guns, the db pistol and the db musket. Both are similar: martial firearms with fatal, the pistol being 1-handed with a 30 foot range and d4 damage, the musket being 2-handed with a 60 foot range and d6 damage.

The double barrel trait allows you to fire both barrels at the same time to upgrade the damage dice one step, which also applies to the fatal die; this is generally useless (it turns the pistol into a dueling pistol with half the range and the musket into a jezail you're 2-handing) so we can ignore it.

The other benefit of the trait is that you can fire

Is Vathah's name symmetrical?

SpoilerWords of Radiance

Spoiler tagged for WoR just in case.

"H" is a wildcard for names. "Th" is one letter. So... Vathah, the random deserter, has a symmetrical name, which Sadeas notes is unusual for lighteyes because it's almost sacrilegious and why he likes it about Ialai.

I even checked the Coppermind (I'm caught up on reading) and didn't see anything that noted his name standing out.

Without going into detail, my partner had a significant amount of money out of his wallet. He had withdrawn money to pay rent and bills earlier that day, and has the receipt of withdrawal with the exact amount that disappeared from his wallet (the wallet itself, as well as coins, were left).

Obviously he has a suspect among his coworkers (a particularly unpleasant asshole who has been harassing him recently), and he has already contacted his supervisors, but this is very clearly police report territory. My partner and I are, obviously, not the most level-headed at the moment, and don't have any experience with this. What do we need to do to file a police report? Where should we file it - wh

What could the remaining Dawnshards be? Apologies for the title, trying to err on the side of caution.

As of WaT, we know 2 for certain - Exist and Change. A common theory for one of the remaining 2 is "Bind" (or some variant thereof). Which leaves us with 1 remaining Dawnshard we know nothing about.

Given that the Dawnshards are supposed to be the weapons that "killed" Adonalsium, I feel like we're missing one that could actually... break him apart? I'm still unclear on how Exist could count as a weapon, given that its bearer seems to be unable to harm others at all.

We also now know all 16 Shard names, and I think it's curious how some of the Shards match up with the Dawnshards. Preserv

#A Quick Recap of Discussion Around Unstable

(You can skip this if you've heard any of it before)

The base functionality of Unstable is now a DC 15 flat check (that is, you succeed 30% of the time). Before errata, it was a DC 17 check (that is, a 20% chance). If you fail the check, you cannot use further Unstable actions until you spend 10 minutes to refocus fix your innovation. If you Critically Fail (a 25% chance, down from 35% pre-errata), you also take Fire damage equal to your level. There is no benefit to rolling a natural 20, the only way to critically succeed.

Many agree that Unstable is, essentially, an Inventor's Focus Points with serial numbers filed off - indeed, Focus Poi

A while ago I saw someone mention "Wizards Array feats are really cool and could have been a great defining class feature, but we only have 2 of them." I was looking at various under-utilized class features to expand upon, and thought it'd be cool to start by giving Wizards more options for arrays.

To save space, unless otherwise noted, all Arrays share the following specifications: 1-action, creates a 5-foot burst within 30 feet, Sustained up to 1 minute, and has the Wizard, Manipulate, Arcane, and Array traits. The Array trait has the following rules:

An Array is a suspension of magical energy that can alter spells that pass through its circuits. Arrays must be placed in a space wh

MBiPF is a level 10 Exemplar feat that, uniquely, can be applied to multiple weapon Ikons because it requires 2 weapons to function. (It can also be applied to Shadow Sheath copies or an Ikon with Twin Stars imbued).

Now... How does that actually work? Say I have a Mortal Harvest hatchet and a Barrow's Edge dagger, and I put MBiPF on them. Do they both get the Returning rune when either of them has a divine spark? Does only one? And the Transcend effect is a ranged Double Strike using both of them that automatically flanks (and doesn't need Agile). Could you theoretically Transcend back and forth every turn? And "If both Strikes hit, the target also takes an additional weapon die of dam

I don't see any mention of it in Pathbuilder, so I was curious - is there any clear mechanic by which to Heighten an Animist's apparition spells? Especially because there is an entire feat (Embodiment of the Balance) to add Heal and Harm to the list... Which is laughably awful if you can only use them at first level.

I'm planning on running Blood Lords since my partner got me the Humble Bundle for our anniversary. Accordingly, I thought it might be fun to make a Wizard school for any players who really want to lean into being a necromancer, since the Remaster schools don't quite scratch that itch. The school spells were pretty easy - I basically just added any appropriately spooky, void-y, bloody, boney, or death-y spell (ignoring the usual limits on how many spells each level gets because hey, this is a home game and also whittling the spells down is extra work for not a lot of benefit - I'm happy to let someone who picks a custom thing I made to have a little extra leeway for thematic appropriateness).

tl;dr: How would you get on, rob, and get off a train in hostile territory around levels 7~9?

I've been brainstorming the skeleton of a mini-campaign (3~4 sessions) based around a train heist, hopefully around levels 7 to 9-ish.

Important world background: the train is located in hostile Dwarven territory, powered by necromancy, and said Dwarven empire is big on necromancy and slavery. I can answer any other worldbuilding detail-related questions if necessary, but generally all first-party content is on the table for ancestries and classes. Deities are totally different but without going into detail; evil empire has a unique religion that revolves around a generation incarnation of a god-k

All I want is a Wood Style. I have never (playing as a kid or now) gotten one offered. In over a dozen changes! Seriously I think I'm cursed.

As a kid playing White: Aqua Ground, Elec Guts, Heat Shield, Elec Bug, Heat Custom, Elec Team.

Now playing Blue: Fire Custom, Elec Team, Aqua Guts, Elec Team, Fire Shield, Elec Cust (rejected), Elec Guts (rejected).

I might actually be forgetting a few rejected styles. But I've never gotten the 1-in-3 chance to get a Wood element. It feels statistically improbable at this point and I just wish there was any way to influence it.
