As an apprentice enthusiast of Star Wars who's most fascinated by the setting, I was just wondering about the durability of lightsabers. Are their hilt casements usually made of saber-resistant materials, whether Beskar or anything else?

Now I may have been watching all the wrong things — or not enough of the right things — but I don't believe I've ever seen a lightsaber explosively destroy another lightsaber...at least not in the more obvious way.

I've been toying with the idea of an asymmetrical saber, hint longer than blade, but I'm intrigued by its in-universe practicality.

I wanted to share a bit of a mindboggling exchange I had with a family member who, though I've been well aware of her fervently anti-drug attitude for years, almost to my disbelief finally laid out her incredibly simplistic views on harm reduction and discussion around the topic of drugs of any kind.

I'm wanting to update a mysterious little project of mine with some new features and functionality, and I thought to add some kind of secret button that deactivates the censorship of certain words on a page (it's an art project of sorts, if you're worried at all).

Does anyone know of where I might start looking for that kind of thing? I'm very new to programming and procedural web design, and my searches so far have only pointed to external software that changes the text on an actual file, and something about replacing the names of variables in Ruby.

For months I've been working on this project, with an extended deadline all the way from April to this very Monday. I won't have another chance, I either pass and go through or fail and get kicked out. I'm almost certain that I won't make it to the third year of the course.
